Tan Jiaojiao stared at the man in front of her in disbelief; he seemed like a completely different person.
When Mingming woke up last time, she was so excited that she even ruthlessly pulled the arrow out of her chest.

There was nothing she could do but endure it until she reached adulthood and sat up straight.
Chen Nian looked at Tan Jiaojiao, her eyes crinkling with laughter, then picked up the meat soup on the table and took a sniff:
"Mmm...smells so good, did you make this?"
He lowered his head and took a small sip: "It's delicious."
Then he picked up his chopsticks and wolfed down his food. He had been hungry for a long time, and he needed nutrition to recover quickly.
Tan Jiaojiao watched him with a smitten expression; even the way he ate was so handsome…
Soon, the bowl of broth was empty, with a thick layer of beef underneath. Chen Nian's eyes widened as he shoveled the beef into his mouth.
He finished all the meat in a few seconds, then contentedly put the empty bowl back on the table.
"Jiaojiao, your cooking is amazing! This is the most delicious food I've ever tasted in my life. I wish I could have it every day..."
