Xu Neng shone the flashlight around, but found nothing unusual.
The echo in the basement was too loud, making it impossible to determine the direction from which the sound was coming from. Searching at this speed would be too inefficient.
Xu Neng glanced at the other six people and came up with an idea:
"There are eight of us in total. We stand back to back in a circle, and each person shines their flashlight in one direction so that there are no blind spots."
Following Xu Neng's method, the illuminated area was much larger, and the movement speed was much faster, while minimizing the amount of noise they made.
Not long after, they found the warehouse.
Fortunately, the warehouse door was closed, so the supplies inside should still be there!
Xu Neng took out a bunch of keys from his pocket and tried them one by one...
"Mr. Xu, where did you get this key?"
“They found it in their office, and we don’t know which one it was, so we just brought it all.”
Xiao Gao was utterly impressed! Before he could even process what was happening, the key was already in his hands.
Xu Neng coldly tossed out a sentence: "You try." Then he continued to scan his surroundings.
The noise he just heard made him uneasy; he felt like he was being watched…
Xiao Gao was helpless, so he had to hold the flashlight in his mouth and use both hands to try each key one by one.
The lock opened when I was halfway through trying the key!
Xu Neng glanced inside following the beam of his flashlight. The boxes were neatly stacked, and everything seemed to be in good condition...
In the distance, several pairs of eyes were also fixed on the light in the darkness. Their eyes, adapted to the darkness, were uncomfortable from the glare, yet they remained curious.
What are these people trying to do?
