Chen Yu and Lin Lele quickly made their way through the chaotic corridor, the sounds of intense gunfire and explosions echoing in their ears, the air thick with the smell of gunpowder and the tension of the moment.
After passing through several emergency-sealed gates, Chen Yu and Lin Lele finally arrived at the outer defense zone of the base.
A group of ragged, menacing-looking adult men were frantically attacking the makeshift defensive line built by Li Hongling's team. They were armed with all sorts of weapons, from simple sticks to modified firearms.
Li Hongling's team, though mostly composed of children, displayed resilience and courage beyond their years. They utilized the terrain to their advantage and organized an effective counterattack, but the situation was clearly not optimistic.
