Chen Yu's actions left Li Wanqing and Zhang Zihan even more bewildered.

“Mr. Chen, this…this really isn’t necessary.” Li Wanqing tried to dissuade him, but Chen Yu just shook his head slightly.
“You deserve better,” Chen Yu said briefly and firmly.
“But these foods are good too, they’re all my favorites. Since they’ve already been delivered, let’s not waste them,” Zhang Zihan couldn’t help but say, her tone full of appreciation for the food.
"Hehe, I haven't eaten lunch either. You guys don't want me to eat leftovers with you, do you?" Chen Yu smiled and said in a half-joking tone.
Upon hearing this, Li Wanqing and Zhang Zihan wore awkward smiles and didn't know how to refute anything further.
However, upon hearing Chen Yu's words, Liu Menghan could no longer hold back and said in a sarcastic tone, "Mr. Chen, you are the high and mighty leader of the Tianyu Base. The future of the entire Blue Star rests on your decisions and vision. How can you compete with us 'prisoners' for food? Upon hearing this, Chen Yu's face turned pale and then red. This Liu Menghan was far too presumptuous, actually mocking him in public.

Hearing Chen Yu's words, Li Wanqing and Zhang Zihan were both quite excited.

Chen Yu smiled as he looked at them, a warm feeling welling up inside him.
