"Of course, the sooner the better." Liu Menghan replied decisively, her gaze as cold as a star, fixed on Chen Yu. "Now that your ugly behavior has been exposed in broad daylight, what excuses do you have left?"
Chen Yu's face grew even uglier. He knew he could no longer escape and had no choice but to face it head-on.
He then turned to Li Wanqing and Zhang Zihan and said in a deep voice, "You two go back to your rooms and rest first. I'll handle things here."
Li Wanqing and Zhang Zihan exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with panic and unease. So, they nodded and silently returned to their rooms.
Chen Yu breathed a slight sigh of relief after they left. A disdainful smile curled at the corner of Liu Menghan's lips as she slowly walked to a corner of the control room, where a monitoring screen was placed.
She deftly pressed a few buttons, and the screen immediately flashed with live footage of every corner of the laboratory. Then, she began to replay the video from a specific time yesterday.
"Chen Yu, open your eyes and look carefully. This is not something I fabricated." Liu Menghan's voice was cold and firm. While operating the monitor, she glanced at Chen Yu out of the corner of her eye, as if enjoying this moment of exposure and revenge.
On the screen, the image gradually became clear, and the timeline slowly scrolled, returning to that chaotic afternoon of yesterday.
Chen Yu stared nervously at the screen, his heart pounding in his chest. He hoped to find evidence proving Liu Menghan's scheme, but he was also afraid of seeing the truth he didn't want to face.
In the footage, Chen Yu, Li Wanqing, and Zhang Zihan are indeed completely drunk.
All three of them collapsed onto the dining table, unconscious.
Then, the scene shifts, and Liu Menghan appears on screen.
"Chen Yu, you dictator, you big bastard, how dare you treat me like this? Waaah~" In the scene, Liu Menghan suddenly burst into tears, her voice choked with sobs. She wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes while angrily accusing Chen Yu, who was still unconscious in the scene.
Because the surveillance cameras here are equipped with recording capabilities, Liu Menghan's cries and accusations were clearly heard, making the atmosphere in the control room even more tense.
Chen Yu looked at himself on the screen. He was completely drunk and unconscious at the time. He never expected to be accused by Liu Menghan in such a tearful manner, which made him feel a little embarrassed.
At this moment, Chen Yu in the picture suddenly opened his eyes slightly, his gaze unfocused and confused.

In the video, Chen Yu staggers to his feet and tries to walk toward Liu Menghan, but his steps are unsteady, clearly indicating that he is extremely drunk.
Liu Menghan stood still, a complex emotion flashing in her eyes, a mixture of anger and helplessness.
Seeing Chen Yu stumble and almost fall, Liu Menghan quickly reached out to support him.

After saying that, Chen Yu in the video went completely insane.
Seeing that the scene below was likely to make everyone uncomfortable, Chen Yu immediately turned off the surveillance video.
The control room fell into a deathly silence. Chen Yu and Lin Lele were both too shocked to speak by what they had just seen and by Chen Yu’s words.
Chen Yu's face was pale, and sweat slid down his cheeks. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his inner turmoil.
Lin Lele broke the silence. She walked to Chen Yu's side and patted him on the shoulder: "Sir, what's done is done. What we need to do now is figure out how to resolve it."
"You beast!" Chen Yu pounded his chest and stamped his feet, looking as if he regretted his own incompetence.
He couldn't accept that his lifelong reputation had been ruined by his own actions.
"Sigh~!" Lin Lele sighed deeply. "Sir, don't worry, I promise I won't tell Yueyue and Xiao Qiao about this."
Chen Yu looked back and forth between Lin Lele and Liu Menghan with a guilty expression, and finally his gaze settled on Liu Menghan, his eyes filled with complicated emotions.
He was about to say something when Lin Lele burst out laughing: "Sir, why don't we continue broadcasting? I really want to see how you make Xiaoliu 'completely submit' later on."
Chen Yu's face instantly became even more embarrassed. He glared at Lin Lele and said in a deep voice, "Go back to sleep right now!"
