Chen Yu originally just wanted to calculate the time that had passed between lunch and dinner by checking the time on his watch.
But when he saw what was on the watch, he was completely stunned.
The time is 3 PM on September 23, 2025.
"Lele, what date is it today?" Chen Yu quickly asked Lin Lele.
"Number 22? What's wrong?" Lin Lele looked at Chen Yu with a puzzled expression, clearly not understanding why he suddenly asked this question.
Upon hearing this, Chen Yu narrowed his eyes slightly, indicating that his memory was correct.
They actually slept for a whole day!
"It seems this place is more interesting than I imagined," Chen Yu murmured.
"Sir, shall we skip the canteen? Don't you have your own rations?" Lin Lele whispered in Chen Yu's ear. She really couldn't stand the food here.
"What rations? You've got it wrong," Chen Yu denied immediately.
“I caught you sneaking food in bed before, and you still denied it!” Lin Lele retorted.
"Ahem~" Chen Yu coughed lightly and said calmly, "You're probably dreaming."
After saying that, he ignored Lin Lele's reaction and walked straight towards the cafeteria.
"Could it be that I'm really dreaming?" Lin Lele scratched her head and muttered to herself.
She shook her head, put the matter aside, and quickly followed.
Although the food in the cafeteria wasn't very good, she was really hungry!
It was peak mealtime, and despite the staggered dining times, there were still several long queues in the cafeteria.
Half an hour later, the two finally got their food. This meal looked much better than the last one. Although it was still just a bowl of porridge, you could vaguely see some small bits of meat in it.
Lin Lele was starving, so she didn't care about being picky anymore and picked up her rice bowl to start eating.
Chen Yu grabbed her wrist: "Wait."
Then, under the questioning gazes of Lin Lele and those around him, he took out a plastic bag from his pocket and poured two bowls of porridge into it.
"Hehe, my brother and I will eat back in the dorm," Chen Yu explained to everyone.
After saying that, he pulled Lin Lele away from the cafeteria and quickly returned to the dormitory.
Everyone in the dormitory had gone to eat, and it was completely empty.
Lin Lele looked at the plastic bag Chen Yu was carrying and complained, "Sir, at least take an extra bag. How are we supposed to eat if everything is in one bag?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Chen Yu slipped a bag of compressed biscuits and a bottle of mineral water into her hand.
"Let's eat quickly before the others come back," Chen Yu said in a low voice, while opening a bag of biscuits and eating them while pondering the incredible situation before him.
Seeing the food in her hand, Lin Lele didn't bother to ask Chen Yu where he got it. She quickly tore open the packaging of the compressed biscuits, took a big bite, and her hunger was instantly relieved.
Although the compressed biscuits didn't taste very good, they were still much better than the half-cooked porridge served in the cafeteria.
Soon, the two finished the cookies and each drank about half a bottle of mineral water.
The reason it was only half a bottle was because the remaining water had been frozen into popsicles before they even drank it.
The temperature is extremely low right now, but fortunately, the water and food were just retrieved by Chen Yu from the other dimension, which gives them some time to eat.
However, Lin Lele has always been rather oblivious and didn't notice these details.
"Sir, where did all that porridge go?" Lin Lele asked, puzzled.
"I just threw it away," Chen Yu said casually. Actually, she had taken advantage of Lin Lele's inattention and put it into her other-dimensional space.
Chen Yu guessed that the reason he, Lin Lele, and the other survivors could sleep for a whole day and night without realizing it was probably related to the food they ate. The managers here had tampered with the food!
However, this is only his initial guess; to verify it, he needs to have someone test the ingredients.
When Lin Lele heard that Chen Yu had thrown away the porridge, a hint of regret appeared on her face. She had been thinking of saving the porridge for the kind-hearted Zhang Yun.
While Lin Lele was in a daze, Chen Yu put the food packaging back into his other-dimensional space and then said to Lin Lele, "When you go to sleep later, whether you can fall asleep or not, try to stay in bed and don't move."
Lin Lele was puzzled upon hearing this: "Sir, are you kidding me? We just woke up, who can still sleep?"
"Just remember what I told you." Chen Yu didn't explain anything to Lin Lele.
Before long, the others also returned to their dormitories in small groups.

The slap was crisp and loud, instantly plunging the entire dormitory into dead silence. The young man's smile froze on his face. He covered his slapped cheek and looked at Chen Yu in astonishment, clearly not expecting the other party to act so decisively.
