Midnight Train
At the beginning of the dungeon, the two found themselves on a strange midnight train, with the radio repeatedly broadcasting four rules:
1. The seat number on the ticket cannot be changed.
2. When you hear your name during the train station announcement, you must stand up and leave your seat.
3. When the train announces the station, if you hear your name, you must stand up and leave your seat.
4. When you hear your name on the train announcement, you must stand up and leave your seat within three seconds.
The broadcast also mentioned "supplementary seats," suggesting that one person was left without a seat.
They soon discovered that rules 2 and 3 were contradictory.
Just then, the train announcement sounded: "Next stop, Yunshuo."
Yuheng immediately stood up and offered his seat. He explained, "Rule 3 says 'someone' must stand up, and it doesn't necessarily have to be you."
The broadcast announced with satisfaction: "Ticket purchase successful."
But at this moment, a life point on Yuheng's wrist was deducted, and his face turned pale in an instant.
Yun Shuo then understood that the so-called "replenishing the ticket" would consume the opponent's health points, unless a substitute was found.
Soon, the announcement sounded again: "Next stop, Yuheng."
Yun Shuo stood up without hesitation, but his body seemed to be nailed to the seat, unable to move. He realized that it was the system that was stopping him.
Yuheng was dragged away from his seat by an invisible force.
"Yuheng!" Yun Shuo shouted desperately, but he could only watch him being taken away.
The broadcast coldly announced: "Ticket checking is over. Those who have not purchased tickets will be asked to get off the train at the next stop."
The car door slowly closed, completely separating the two people.
Yun Shuo frantically searched for Yu Heng, and finally saw his blurry figure on the glass door at the end of the carriage.
Yu Heng mouthed to him, "Don't be afraid, find the rules."
Yun Shuo suddenly realized that there was a ray of hope hidden in the rules. He had to find a way to "alternate" when the next station announcement sounded.
The train announced the next stop: "Next stop, Yuheng."
Yun Shuo immediately took out his camera and pressed the shutter button at his own reflection.
"I'll do it." He answered calmly to his reflection.
This time, the system approved his "replacement," and the broadcast announced with satisfaction: "Ticket replacement successful."
The train began to slow down, and Yun Shuo finally found the weakened Yu Heng in the next car. He was slumped in the car, his face as white as wallpaper, breathing heavily.
Yun Shuo ran towards him and let him lie in his arms. Yun Shuo felt very sad when he saw Yu Heng like this. At this moment, all words seemed redundant.
The announcement informed them that they were about to complete the dungeon, but Yun Shuo's heart was filled with an unprecedented chill. He realized that this system was far more ruthless than they had imagined.
At this moment, the system prompt sounded again, as if suggesting that all this was not accidental...
