Su Wan and Lu Beichuan were setting off fireworks in the yard. Su Wan already knew that Wu Yanran was alright, and she was in a good mood so she didn't mind Lu Beichuan's interruption. Besides, she was waiting for Gu Chu to come back tonight, and they had to make up for the New Year's Eve dinner. So, with Lu Beichuan's help, the nanny was still preparing the food.

When Gu Chu entered the villa and saw Lu Beichuan come in but not Rong Shi, she asked in confusion, "Lu Beichuan, where is Rong Shi?"
"He...he went to buy cigarettes," Lu Beichuan lied.
A hint of suspicion flickered in Gu Chu's eyes.
Buy cigarettes?
Rong Shi never smokes, so why would he buy cigarettes?
Something's definitely wrong!
"Chu Chu, you guys eat first, I'm going out to take a look." Gu Chu said and hurriedly left the door.
She took out her phone and called Rong Shi.
Just as Rong Shi approached Shen Baiyan's door, his phone suddenly rang. Shen Baiyan noticed and quickly went over to open the door.
The two started fighting.
With a click, Rong Shi kicked the switch on the room light, and the room was instantly bright as day.
They both saw each other's faces clearly and stopped their swinging fists in time.
"It's you!" Shen Baiyan was surprised that Rong Shi had discovered him.
"Shen Baiyan!" Rong Shi was surprised to find that the person spying on them was actually Shen Baiyan.
Rong Shi then relaxed his guard and took out his phone to answer the call.
"Rong Shi, where did you go?" Gu Chu asked blankly.
"Wait a moment."
Rong Shi hung up the phone and walked out of the villa.
Gu Chu was puzzled when she saw Rong Shi come out of the villa next door: "Rong Shi, why did you come out from there?"
