As Su Wan and Shen Baiyan went outside, they saw Gu Qingling's hurried departure.
Su Wan was puzzled and was about to say something when Wu Yanran and Wu Yan happened to appear behind them.
Ever since Su Wan and Gu Chu left the private room, Wu Yan had been wondering why Su Wan didn't greet him when she saw him. Instead, a strange woman called him "Brother Wu" very familiarly, and her tone sounded very familiar.
Wu Yan then asked Wu Yanran, "Who was that girl just now?"

Wu Yanran was quite surprised to hear Wu Yan admit that he liked Su Wan. Her brain was working quickly, and she was clearly trying to recall something.
A few seconds later, he swallowed hard to suppress his shock: "You've liked her since high school?"
Wu Yan did not deny it: "Yes."
Wu Yanran suddenly realized that she had been a fool, failing to notice something so obvious.

No wonder my older brother has been treating me very differently since high school. He cares about me much more than he did in junior high, especially about my friendships. He is very cautious about me and always asks me if I have any close male classmates or friends.

Upon learning the truth, Wu Yan was both angry and heartbroken. He couldn't help but rush out to find Su Wan and comfort her. Wu Yanran followed him out, only to find that Su Wan and Gu Chu were nowhere to be seen in the restroom.
Just as Wu Yan was about to call Su Wan, he suddenly saw Su Wan with a handsome and extraordinary man. He immediately realized that the man was the 'chosen one' that Wu Yanran had mentioned.
He walked over and called out to Su Wan: "Wanwan."
Wu Wan and Shen Baiyan came out from the corner and saw Wu Yan and Wu Yanran appear. Wu Yan even recognized her.
Wu Yanran ran over: "Girl, my brother already knows about what happened to you."
When Shen Baiyan saw a man calling Su Wan so intimately, his expression suddenly turned cold.
The two men sized each other up without saying a word.
Su Wan forced a smile: "Brother Wu, since you already know, there's no need for me to explain."
"Wanwan, why didn't you tell me about this big thing? Do you still consider me your Brother Wu?"
Although Wu Yan was questioning him, his tone was very gentle.
Su Wan kept her eyes downcast and thought to herself: What's the use of telling you? Besides, you were abroad at the time.

"What fate? How could Uncle Hu treat you like this! Wait for me, I'll definitely find him and demand an explanation!" Wu Yan excitedly grabbed Su Wan's shoulder.

Wu Yan didn't take it, but suddenly angrily refused: "I don't want it!"
Su Wan was stunned when she saw Wu Yan lose his temper for the first time.
Wu Yan realized he had startled Su Wan, so he quickly composed himself and suppressed his displeasure, explaining, "I gave you change."
Wu Yanran was speechless upon hearing this.
No wonder they couldn't see through Wu Yan's thoughts; it turns out his older brother is a total straight man!
Su Wan had no choice but to withdraw her hand: "Okay, I'll pay you back next time I get some change."
Shen Baiyan was very unhappy to see the two of them talking back and forth, especially when he noticed that Wu Yan's gaze towards Su Wan clearly carried a man's 'possessiveness' towards a woman.
He took Su Wan's hand again: "Come on! Didn't you have something important to tell me?"
Su Wan almost forgot her business, but Shen Baiyan reminded her, so she quickly said goodbye to Wu Yanran and her brother: "Girl, Brother Wu, see you next time!"
Wu Yan wanted to chase after him but was stopped by Wu Yanran.
He could only watch helplessly as Su Wan was pulled into a luxury car by Shen Baiyan.

Su Wan had just fastened her seatbelt when the car drove off, and she was so startled she almost died.
"What are you doing? I just fastened my seatbelt and you started driving. Did you have to be in such a hurry?" Su Wan glared at him, annoyed.
