Shen's Group Office —
Shen Baiyan was in a meeting when his phone suddenly rang.
Upon seeing that it was Jiang Jinyu calling, he hung up without hesitation.
The phone rang again, and everyone in the conference room turned their attention to Shen Baiyan's phone on his desk. Shen Baiyan frowned and hung up once more.
When the phone rang for the third time, Shen Baiyan gritted his teeth and thought to himself: Jiang Jinyu! You'd better have something important to say!
"The meeting is on hold!"
Shen Baiyan got up, picked up his phone, and walked out the door.
He answered the phone in a somber tone: "What is it?"
Jiang Jinyu said lazily, "Of course I have something to ask you. My time is also very precious."
Shen Baiyan said unhappily, "Enough with the nonsense, speak!"
Jiang Jinyu said, "Don't you really want to consider letting me share in the joy of the Yufeng Hotel project?"
Shen Baiyan immediately understood what Jiang Jinyu meant; he hadn't given up on that project yet.
"It's nothing, I'm hanging up!" Shen Baiyan said, about to hang up the phone.
Jiang Jinyu said urgently, "No! Su Wan is being watched!"
Upon hearing this, Shen Baiyan's finger, which was about to touch the screen, paused, and he quickly withdrew his hand: "Who?"
Jiang Jinyu proposed again: "Please consider letting me join the Yufeng Hotel project as well."
"Beep beep beep..." Shen Baiyan hung up the phone immediately.
He thinks he can use Su Wan to blackmail him? He's not worthy!
Shen Baiyan returned to the conference room: "Xu Han, go and find out immediately who Su Wan met yesterday!"

Jiang Jinyu stared coldly at the phone that had been hung up.
Suddenly, his phone rang. Seeing that it was Gu Chu calling, he smiled and said, "Chu Chu?"
Gu Chu frowned in displeasure upon hearing Jiang Jinyu's words, her voice icy: "Don't forget what you promised me."
Jiang Jinyu suddenly remembered that he had promised Gu Chu three days ago to lend her a bodyguard, and later promised that he would personally bring the bodyguard over.
He laughed and said, "I haven't forgotten, I've been waiting for your call!"

Shen Baiyan was furious: "Will you talk or not!"
Jiang Jinyu said meaningfully, "The Yufeng Hotel project?"
Shen Baiyan's gaze was icy, and his tone was unfriendly: "It's not that I can't let you join, but what will you offer in return for our deal?"
Seeing an opportunity, Jiang Jinyu quickly said, "I can be your informant. Gu Chu will tell me everything she does. How about I generously share information with you? Like today, Gu Chu and I have a mission to complete, but you don't know about it."
Shen Baiyan pondered for a few seconds, thinking that Su Wan was indeed wary of him. At least Su Wan wouldn't think of asking him for help if she needed anything. On the other hand, it seemed that Jiang Jinyu knew everything about Gu Chu.
Shen Baiyan was a little jealous of this: "It depends on how you perform."
Jiang Jinyu was very dissatisfied with this answer: "President Shen, I am your opponent, not your subordinate. I don't believe your empty promises."
Shen Baiyan: "Then what do you want in return for telling me! Even if you don't tell me, I can still have someone investigate."
Jiang Jinyu didn't take it seriously: "If you investigate one thing, you investigate two things too. If you investigate everything, it will be time-consuming and laborious. Not everything will wait for you."
Shen Baiyan agreed. Not everything will wait for him; once something happens, there's no point in investigating it.
Thinking of this, he relented and said, "Come over here, and I can talk to you about the Yufeng Hotel project."
Jiang Jinyu smiled and said, "Chu Chu and I still have a mission. If you want to participate, I'll have my assistant go over there. You can prepare the project contract."
Shen Baiyan agreed: "Okay."
Jiang Jinyu added, "I recorded our conversation. President Shen wouldn't go back on his word, would he?"
Shen Baiyan countered, "What do you think?"
Jiang Jinyu had no more concerns. He said, "First, yesterday Chu Chu, Su Wan, and I went to the Qi Group. Qi Mingxuan seemed very interested in Su Wan, so be careful. Second, today Chu Chu, Su Wan, and I are going to conduct a small experiment to lure out a snake, with the goal of capturing a Japanese person."
"Beep beep beep..." Shen Baiyan hung up the phone after hearing the answer.
Jiang Jinyu glanced at the phone that had been hung up and scoffed, "Getting impatient, huh!"
Shen Baiyan returned to his office and called his assistant: "Xu Han, you don't need to investigate the things I asked you to do before. Prepare the Yufeng project contract. Someone from Jiang's will be coming over in a bit. You'll be responsible for signing the contract with them. Remember! It's a contracting agreement."
"Yes!" Xu Han replied and withdrew.
Shen Baiyan's eyes gleamed with cunning as he looked in the direction Xu Han had left.
