The next day, Gu Chuyi was followed by Xu Han as soon as she went out.
Gu Chu had anticipated that her strange behavior last night would arouse Shen Baiyan's suspicion.
Sure enough, here it comes!
Gu Chu went straight to the Spirit Story store after leaving home. After Su Wan went to D country, she told Gu Chu about Ke Yun. Gu Chu would visit the store whenever she had time and chat with Ke Yun. Over time, the two became familiar with each other.
Gu Chu didn't tell Ke Yun about Su Wan's faked death, but before meeting Shen Baiyan, she told Ke Yun that Su Wan had an accident abroad. Gu Chu didn't specify what happened, as some things are more believable when they are vague.
"Ke Yun, get me a bouquet of flowers."
Ke Yun looked at her questioningly: "Do you still want daisies?"
"Um."
"Mr. Gu, if I may ask, is something on your mind? You haven't looked well these past few days."
"It's alright, go ahead and do your work. Just put the expenses on the tab."
Gu Chu hailed a taxi with daisies in her hand: "Driver, to the city cemetery."
Xu Han followed closely behind, and was somewhat shocked when he saw Gu Chu holding a bouquet of daisies. He immediately called Shen Baiyan.
The call was answered, and Xu Han said, "President, Miss Gu bought a bunch of daisies and took a taxi towards the cemetery."
"A cemetery?" Shen Baiyan found it strange, but didn't think much of it.
“You continue to follow,” Shen Baiyan said.
After hanging up the phone, Shen Baiyan felt increasingly uneasy.
Suddenly, as if realizing something, he froze, abruptly dropped the documents in his hand, stood up, and rushed out of the office.

Shen Baiyan comforted himself as he rushed into the elevator.

Shen Baiyan drove rapidly toward the cemetery.
Xu Han followed Gu Chu to the cemetery. Gu Chu got out of the car and walked towards Su Wan's grave, and Xu Han quietly followed behind.
Gu Chu murmured to Su Wan's tombstone, "Aunt Mei, I'm sorry to bother you again. I was forced to take advantage of you, please forgive me. Speaking of which, we are quite destined. In our past lives, we died on the same day because of the same person..."
After talking for a while, Gu Chu got up and left when she saw that it was almost time.

With tears welling up in his eyes, Shen Baiyan looked at Gu Chu excitedly: "Gu Chu, tell me, this isn't true, there's no one inside, Su Wan is still abroad, right?"
Gu Chu raised her hand and slapped him: "Slap! Shen Baiyan! Wanwan is dead! She's dead! You killed her!"
Gu Chu cried and roared.
Seeing Gu Chu's reaction, Shen Baiyan panicked. His gaze was fixed on the photo on the tombstone, and his voice was very hoarse: "Impossible!
