The two skinny guys looked at their leader, the most capable tattooed thug, who was now sitting on the ground, and wondered what was going on. But judging from his appearance, he was probably no longer of any use.
Looking at Han Ming and Zhuang Yan again, they still looked menacing.
The two looked at Han Ming, inwardly lamenting their bad luck and misfortune.
Last time, this guy kicked me half to death in front of the town's police station. Today is even worse; someone else kicked me even harder.
Seeing the speed at which the foot struck, both of them broke out in a cold sweat.
If you get kicked in the back, it won't just be like last time when you had to lie in bed for three days. You might end up in a wheelchair for the rest of your life.
"To make a living, you have to work yourself to the bone." The two skinny monkeys exchanged a glance, and one of them quickly pulled out a small golden Buddha from his pocket and threw it back to the old woman.
Fearing trouble, he also took out the scissors from his pocket as a sign of sincerity.
Unexpectedly, Zhuang Yan saw that the skinny man dared to pull out a weapon, so he went over and chopped him in the wrist with a chop, and the latter immediately screamed like a pig being slaughtered.
Anyone who didn't know better would think his hand had been chopped off, given how horribly he was screaming.
There was only one skinny guy left, who was now pale with fright, covered in sweat, and inwardly groaning.
If I had known this would happen, I shouldn't have followed the boss out to rescue that accomplice.
Now things are really bad. The leader is half-dead, his companions are just screaming and yelling, and he's the only one left.
However, this guy was also quite ruthless. Seeing that things couldn't be resolved peacefully, he became ruthless and gritted his teeth to take the initiative to attack Han Ming and Zhuang Yan.
It's a pity, the weight difference is too great, it was originally 1 against 2, and he was so skinny.
Lacking self-awareness resulted in him being brutally beaten by the two, making him the one who suffered the worst beating among the three.
As soon as someone heard there was a fight, wow, the number of onlookers increased dramatically.
The young people ignored it all, crowding around and peering into the circle, oblivious to the scorching sun overhead.
The three thugs were on the ground; the fight was over. At this point, the police arrived. Han Ming guessed that it was someone from the crowd who called the police.
The truth is quite clear: three thugs wanted to steal something and had already succeeded, but the victim discovered their plan.
The two sides were deadlocked when two young men from the crowd bravely stepped in and beat down the three thugs.
Logically, with such an obvious case and complete witness and physical evidence, those who should be arrested should be arrested, and those who should be praised should be praised.
But the two police officers insisted on taking the relevant people back to the station for investigation.
Although some of the elderly people watching were willing to testify, there was nothing they could do; the police needed to investigate.
Especially since two of the thugs had already been beaten into silence, we couldn't just let Han Ming and his group go.
Han Ming thought to himself that these people had caused trouble, and it was all Zhuang Yan's fault for going too far. However, he liked it; these bastards had to be dealt with severely.
But who knows how long it will take to get to the police station? I need to pick up Dong Xiaolu this afternoon. What should I do?
From a distance in the crowd, I could see Liang Qi anxiously waiting outside. I guess she saw the crowd growing and came over to check on things.
But with so many people, she couldn't squeeze in.
The police called another car over, and Liang Qi finally approached Han Ming and the others before they got in the car.
Han Ming could only ask Liang Qi for help. If he couldn't make it in time by the afternoon, he would have to trouble Liang Qi to pick up Dong Xiaolu from the bus station.
When Liang Qi saw the three thugs again, her face was filled with fear, but since the three were no longer a threat, she wasn't too panicked.
Picking up Dong Xiaolu at the station wasn't a big problem; Liang Qi wasn't considering safety at that moment.
In broad daylight, as long as she is careful, nothing should happen. What she is worried about now is Han Ming and Zhuang Yan. She doesn't know if anything will happen to them when they go to the police station.
Han Ming wasn't too worried, and Zhuang Yan was even less concerned; he felt that beating up hooligans was upholding justice.
Seeing Han Ming and Zhuang Yan being taken away, Liang Qi looked at the bags of electronic waste on the ground and didn't know what to do.
No one wanted to take these old and worn-out things, but she simply couldn't carry them all with her own two hands.
To Han Ming's surprise, the old woman with the little boy was quite loyal and not only accompanied him to the police station to give his statement.
Moreover, he spoke highly of Han Ming and Zhuang Yan at the police station, praising them as good young people who acted bravely and righteously in today's society.
The police were worried that the three thugs might actually get into serious trouble, so they took Han Ming and his group to the police station to find out what happened.
The three thugs were scoundrels, probably used to getting beaten up a lot. After a while at the police station, they finally came to their senses.
They confessed to stealing the little boy's gold beads. Han Ming thought this time he could lock up the three scoundrels for a while longer.
But he didn't know exactly how the police would handle it. After all, this was a case of theft being stopped in time, and thus considered an attempted theft.
Fortunately, Han Ming and his buddies didn't cause any serious damage to the three thugs. After exchanging contact information, they were able to leave the police station.
The old woman insisted that Han Ming and his companions leave their phone number so she could express her gratitude later.
Han Ming didn't expect any thanks, so he and Zhuang Yan politely told the old woman that it wasn't necessary.
After they parted ways, they noticed it was almost 2 p.m. and realized they were getting hungry.
I need to pick up Dong Xiaolu right away, and Liang Qi is still left alone in the mall. I need to call and check on her.
Liang Qi had just finished tidying up all the old and broken things. Luckily, there was a large supermarket in the basement of the mall with plenty of lockers.
