Chapter 91 Liang Qi Reunited

It was unclear whether it was students' parents or other people, but in any case, the school gate was bustling with activity on Sunday afternoon.

Luxury cars frequently drop off students, and men and women walk into the campus carrying large and small bags.

Looking at his empty hands, Han Ming felt a sense of unease.

Yes, it wouldn't be right to come see Liang Qi empty-handed.

Since he couldn't get in touch with her for the time being, Han Ming decided to buy some snacks first, thinking that girls would never refuse delicious treats.

Actually, when Han Ming thought of Liang Qi at the 4S store that afternoon, he also remembered that there was something he had always wanted to give her.

It's nothing more than a laptop I printed myself.

In his spare time, Han Ming would collect scrap materials to make notebooks, partly to distribute to company employees and partly as gifts.

We had originally planned to get one for Liang Qi too, since her laptop had been repaired before, and a repaired one is definitely not as good as a brand new printer.

So Han Ming specially reserved one for Liang Qi, but he never found an opportunity to give it to her.

Han Ming hadn't originally planned to visit Liang Qi after coming to the provincial capital to buy a car; it was a completely impromptu decision. So, Han Ming was currently empty-handed.

Han Ming ran to a large supermarket not far from the school and bought a lot of snacks, carrying several large bags.

Just as I was considering whether or not to buy anything else, my phone rang.

He took it out and saw that it was Liang Qi.

When the call connected, Liang Qi's voice sounded rather strange; she probably hadn't expected Han Ming to call her so suddenly.

Han Mingyi's explanation made Liang Qi very happy.

She was originally going to paint in the studio that afternoon, and to avoid being disturbed, she put her phone in offline mode.

I just finished painting and turned on my phone, only to find several incoming call notifications and text messages from Han Ming.

Surprised, she called back and learned that Han Ming had come to visit her at school and was currently nearby. Liang Qi felt a surge of excitement for no reason.

So he quickly packed his things and rushed back to his dormitory to get dressed.

Since Liang Qi wasn't picked up by a rich man, Han Ming breathed a sigh of relief, and the two agreed to meet at the school gate later.

Han Ming realized that he couldn't carry any more items with just his two hands, so he gave up, paid the bill, and headed towards school.

After waiting for a while at the school gate, carrying all those big and small bags, I looked like a fool.

Fortunately, Liang Qi didn't keep Han Ming waiting for long. Han Ming spotted Liang Qi's figure at the school gate from afar, but it seemed that the girl had a few followers with her.

As they got closer, Han Ming saw that there were five girls in total, including Liang Qi. The most unexpected thing was that the girl who was with Du Yan was also among them.

However, judging from her appearance, she seemed extremely uncomfortable.

In fact, Han Ming had spotted her from afar, and with the help of the X-ray glasses, he couldn't miss her every move.

It was obvious that the girl recognized Han Ming as she got closer, and she was extremely embarrassed, so she tried to find an excuse to leave.

But Liang Qi and the other girls wouldn't let her leave; they all held her back.

Seeing her distress, Han Ming guessed that she was worried he would expose her affair with a wealthy man, so he was eager to leave.

Han Ming sighed, not wanting to make things too difficult for her, and chose not to look at her.

Smiling, she said to Liang Qi, "Qiqi, you've become even more beautiful in just a few days."

Liang Qi felt a surge of joy when Han Ming teased her, especially when she saw the large and small bags Han Ming was carrying, filled with delicious food.

Thinking that it was a gift for himself, he was even happier. The girls next to him also cheered him on.

They were all bored and spacing out in the dormitory when they saw Liang Qi excitedly running back to the dormitory to change clothes and get ready, and they were all puzzled.

They grabbed Liang Qi and wouldn't let her leave, insisting that she confess what she had been doing.

Liang Qi was anxious, but there was nothing she could do but say that her older brother from her hometown had come to visit her.

Upon hearing Liang Qi mention her brother, her roommates looked on in disbelief. These days, brothers are unreliable. It's normal for parents to visit their daughter, not brothers.

Unless it's a lover, what brother would be so enthusiastic?

Several people were arguing and insisting on coming with Liang Qi to welcome her so-called brother. They all knew that Liang Qi had a boyfriend before, but they broke up later.

Now that a brother has suddenly appeared, it's no wonder they're all gossiping and clamoring to meet him.

Liang Qi was worried that Han Ming would wait too long at the school gate, and she couldn't stand being nagged by her roommates, so she had no choice but to agree to go with them.

That's why there was the scene of five girls greeting Han Ming alone at the school gate. Han Ming didn't mind at all; he had a clear conscience and treated these girls like his own sisters.

As Liang Qi introduced them, they greeted each of them with smiles.

Even the girl next to Du Yan, Han Ming pretended not to recognize her and simply nodded slightly in greeting.

Han Ming planned to treat the girls to dinner, and the girls were all quite happy, especially the one who was so fat that she was comparable to Zhang Ruoxi, who weighed 200 pounds at the game company.

She was practically drooling as she held her stomach.

However, with so many bags in his hands, he had to take them back to the dormitory first, so Han Ming followed Liang Qi and the others into the school.

They attracted quite a bit of attention along the way. Liang Qi was already pretty, and two of the other four girls were also quite good-looking.

It would be abnormal if this group of five women and one man didn't attract attention.

Han Ming felt extremely uncomfortable seeing countless eyes staring at him, and regretted that he should have simply stayed at the school gate and waited.

The campus looks much the same as it did during Han Ming's student days. It's dinner time now, and all you can see are students returning from the library with books in their hands.

There are also groups of two or three people going to the cafeteria for dinner, and of course, there are bound to be pairs of seemingly sweet young couples among them.

On the surface, the university campus still appears peaceful and tranquil.

But in reality, it is riddled with holes due to the infiltration of bad social trends.

Those seemingly innocent and naive students, who could possibly know whether she or he has already hooked up with a rich man outside?

Han Ming silently hoped that those negative phenomena were just isolated cases.

Han Ming, a grown man, definitely couldn't enter the girls' dormitory area. He could just wait outside for a while and let Liang Qi go back and put her things away.

In a short while, another girl joined the regrouped group, which meant that Liang Qi must have gathered everyone from her dormitory.

Han Ming didn't care; it was just treating someone to a meal, nothing to him now.

And so, the strange group of six girls and one boy marched off in a grand procession toward the food street outside the school gate.
