Chapter 18: Deep love is letting those who are reluctant to leave go peacefully

The lights went out, leaving only one pillar hitting Su Bai.

Su Bai was wearing a slim-fitting suit, and his perfect standard inverted triangle figure was clearly outlined by the suit.

But what was strange was that he was wearing a pair of sunglasses, holding a guide stick in his hand, and standing firmly in a corner of the stage.

A sad melody, played by flute and piano, with only the prelude and no lyrics, makes people feel a sense of parting filling their minds.

The stage lights came on, a pale white light with a hint of ultraviolet light around it.

A hospital bed appeared in the audience's sight, and the extra on the bed was an old man, lying quietly with his eyes closed.

The camera zoomed in, revealing the old man's wrinkled skin like chicken skin dotted with age spots, his brows slightly furrowed, yet he remained calm.

"Empty-handed as when you came

The wrinkled forehead is finally free of pain

My eyelids are inevitably heavy from walking too much.

You're right, you should go home and sit down."

Su Bai's magnetic voice sounded like a needle piercing the hearts of all the audience.

The scene before them made many people frown.

"The whistle sounded quietly into my ears

I'm afraid I won't have another chance to say hello this time.

It's your turn to hide in my elbows for the last time.

Like leaning against the sky that once rocked me

The big screen at the back lit up, and a green train belching thick smoke made a humming sound and gradually began to move away.

Su Bai was holding a guide stick, but his body gradually became hunched.

The face behind the sunglasses couldn't see his eyes, but he was staring in the direction the car was driving away.

"Don't say anything, don't take away the tears

I have left you in the mirror

Smile on the outline

Don't look back, the last bus is about to leave

You just go first

Deep love is the one who makes you reluctant to leave

Walk well."

After the first verse, many people in the audience were already in tears.

"Don't worry, we'll meet again.

The afternoon walk should be like before

Holding hands again and reminiscing about the past

Don't linger, the last bus is leaving.

The road ends

Looking back is for those who always keep their mouths in their hearts

Walk well."

The last sentence fell softly, Su Bai slowly turned around, took a few steps, and tilted his head back slightly, as if he wanted to look back again.

But it only paused for a moment.

Then he gradually walked away holding the guide stick.

The lights on the stage dimmed.

Until the end, he stayed on the hospital bed for a few seconds.

Then, it was like night.
