Chapter 9 The lakeside villa is zero!

Chapter 9 The lakeside villa is zero!

“Congratulations on your enrollment, Ancia.” Heligaluo’s gaze was gentle. “This is a gift for your enrollment.”

Ancia took the box, opened it, and was stunned. "This is..."

Two blue earrings lay inside a light velvet box, exactly the same as the armor and jewelry the system had previously gifted.

One of them had already been taken by Merri, and the other had fallen off at some point. How did it become a gift from Heligalo?

Ancia couldn't resist clicking on the item details to check.

[Item Description: Heligalo commissioned the finest jeweler in the Eternal City to create this piece, modeled after the only remaining earrings, and cut from the most precious sapphires, embodying Heligalo's blessings for his friend.]

Attribute: Spirit +5

Heligalo made no mention of the materials and effort spent. "You've been wearing those earrings before, you must have liked them. I had someone make a new pair to match them. Do you like them?"

Ancia happily put it on, "I love it!"

Its attributes are even higher than the original jewelry given by the system, which gives +2 Spirit. How could I not like it?

“Thank you, Heli.” Ancia tilted her head slightly, her earrings swaying, the blue teardrop gems dazzling under the light.

"My God, the Holy Son of Light gave that newborn gift with full affinity."

"Is the Holy See planning to recruit this new student?"

"After all, it has a light element affinity of 100. Where else can it go if not the Holy See of Light?"

...

The whispers around her never stopped. After the affinity test, Ancia became the center of attention, and even her conversation with Herigalo became a topic of conversation.

"Heli, is this the kind of life you usually lead?" Ancia sighed helplessly. She really wanted to borrow the dean's cloak to wear.

"Now we've shared joys and sorrows?" Heligaluo's azure eyes curved slightly.

Two tiny fairies, no bigger than a human hand, carried the payment device to the first row of the freshman area. They asked in a soft voice, "Freshmen, would you like to stay in the free four-person dorm or the villa by Moon Lake?"

Princess Eve, seeing that Ancia had been talking only to Heligaluo since coming down, finally couldn't resist and took out her crystal card to attract Ancia's attention, saying, "Villa."

The little fairy swiped the corresponding gold coins from the crystal card and placed a key in Princess Eve's palm.

Princess Eve's resentment subsided somewhat after feeling Ancia's gaze, and she raised her chin, "What? You've changed your mind?"

Ancia ignored Princess Eve and took out a crystal card from her backpack. "Villa, one year."

Big client!

The little fairy's eyes lit up immediately. "Great new student! Great new student! How about the little fairy's housekeeping service? It only costs 1000 gold coins a month, and the little fairy will clean your villa and prepare your favorite food anytime! The little fairy has magic that makes pillows soft, clothes comfortable, and food delicious!"

Ancia smiled, "Okay, it's a year too, swipe the card."

“Me too.” Princess Eve bit her lip and glared angrily at Ancia. The princess’s pride did not allow her to show kindness to one person again and again. Finally, she stopped talking to Ancia and even turned her sitting position to the other side.

Of all the new students, only the three of them chose Moon Lakeside; the others didn't even have the right to choose.

The little fairies looked at Heligalo expectantly. Would this blue-eyed freshman hire them?

Heligalo hesitated for a moment under the goblin's eager gaze, "Do you know how to perform Holy Communion?"

The little fairy shook her head. "What is Holy Communion? The little fairy has never learned this kind of food magic."

Ancia said expressionlessly, "Whole wheat bread and water."

The little fairy was a little angry. "This kind of food can be made without magic! The fairy canteen serves it every day, but nobody eats it."

Heligalo coughed lightly. "Yes, I need two communions every day."

The little fairy flew close to Heligaluo carrying the payment device. "New student, your housekeeping service only costs 500 gold coins per month."

"Pfft." Ancia covered her mouth with her hand, but laughter still escaped.

The little fairy herself confirms that Holy Communion is indeed not something normal people can eat every day.

Whole wheat bread doesn't even have the right to charge for it; it's enough to just bring it from the fairy canteen every day. The little fairies like to earn gold coins, but they are honest in how they make money and disdain charging fees that they shouldn't have to pay.

After the opening ceremony, Ancia, guided by the little fairy, headed towards the lakeside villa.

Moon Lake is so large that you can't see the edge. Standing at the villa entrance, you can only see a few villas nearby and the tower in the center of the lake.

Ancia entered the villa numbered "11". It had two floors and all the furniture and magic crystal devices inside were brand new, but the furniture was all white, which was a bit monotonous.

If you want to change the color and style of the furniture, you must reorder from Gracia.

Anciya nodded knowingly, "I understand, furniture is the new monetization point."

"New student! I am Lulu, the little fairy who is here to serve you." The little fairy with golden wings flew to Ancia. "Cleaning, laundry, cooking, and everything related to villa life, Lulu can serve you. If you have any other requests, you will need to pay Lulu extra gold coins."

“Okay, Lulu, just call me Ancia. What else do you want?” Ancia asked curiously.

"For example, ask Lulu to pick up the letter that was sent to Gracia, ask Lulu to deliver a love letter to the person you like, ask Lulu to find the most handsome man in the academy..." Lulu gave examples in a very methodical manner.

"Cough cough cough..." Anciya was drinking water and choked.

"Stop coughing magic!" Lulu waved her delicate staff, and Ancia's discomfort instantly vanished.

"Wow, that's amazing." Ancia put down her water glass and took a gold coin from her backpack. "Lulu, who's the most handsome man in the academy?"

It should be the Mist Moon Elf among the five male protagonists, right?

Lulu hugged the gold coin, which was half her own size, and exclaimed happily, "It's the Dean!"

Ancia had only intended to tease Lulu with gold coins, but Lulu gave a completely unexpected answer.

She sat in the soft armchair and pondered quietly. The appearance of a game character was positively correlated with the importance of their status. The Dean was even more beautiful than the famously beautiful Mistmoon Elf. He was either a major villain or a special NPC.

Be wary of this mysterious astrologer. If he has ulterior motives, they will naturally be revealed in the storyline.

"Ancia, it's time to choose your courses." Lulu flew in, dragging a piece of paper much longer than herself. "Lulu can help you submit your course selection form to the office; it will cost one gold coin."

The long parchment landed in Ancia's hands. The parchment listed Gracia's many courses. Only the basic theory of magic was required for freshmen; the others were optional.

Anciya directly checked the advanced courses related to the light and wood elements, her pen hovering over the paper before she checked the assassination course.

Whether it's to increase her output or to improve her relationship with the male protagonist, Merri, Ancia needs to choose this course.

"Lulu, could you please take this to my office?" Ancia said with a smile, taking out a gold coin.

"Okay!" Having earned two gold coins, Lulu stuffed them all into her small backpack, hugged the parchment, and flew out of the villa full of energy.

After enjoying the oriental spice stew with seasonal fresh vegetables and premium protein prepared by Lulu, Ancia decided to go for a walk. The night view of Moon Lake is a major feature of "Westlife". The game not only attracts many players with its rich romance storyline, but also with its beautiful magical world and complete adventure content.

Fireflies danced on the lake's surface. Lotus leaves served as a passageway between the lakeside and the tower in the center of the lake. In the night, the edges of the lotus leaves emitted a faint glow, like stars falling into the lake.

After the moon rises, the reflection of the tower in the lake perfectly cradles the moon's reflection, creating a dreamlike scene.

"So this is Moon Lake."

Ancia was captivated by the beautiful scenery and stopped to admire it quietly. It had been a long time since she had traveled.

Even though there were no footsteps, she suddenly felt someone approaching from behind. Ancia quickly turned around and saw the person, half guilty and half surprised, "Professor Murtrie."

"Ancia, congratulations on enrolling. I came to ask if you've chosen my course?" Murtrie stopped a short distance away, her hands pressed stiffly against her legs, and her voice was rigid.

"It's already been chosen. You will be my assassination course instructor this semester. I look forward to your guidance." Ancia's tone sounded rather downcast.

"What's wrong? Do you not like this course? Or..." Murtrie swallowed the rest of her words.

"Uh, I need to tell you in advance that I have a slightly lower aptitude for combat skills, and I'm probably the dumbest student you've ever taught," Ancia said awkwardly.

"A little bit low" is an euphemism; it's actually zero.

It's zero!

She would never have mastered such cool and powerful combat skills as stealth, stun, or hamstringing, even after a lifetime of assassination training.

Murtrie breathed a sigh of relief. "It's alright, I can teach you." He took a step closer to Ancia, shortening the distance between them.

Suddenly, a large burst of water erupted from the lakeside, splashing towards Merriel.

Ancia's position was also affected. To avoid the splash, she stepped back, but her heel hit a pebble, causing her to lose her balance.

"Be careful!" Murtrie rushed over to support her, then walked through the curtain of water, getting completely soaked.

Ancia swung her hands and placed them on Merriel's thighs, the surfaces beneath her hands feeling incredibly hard.

She slowly looked down and saw the long, bulging shape on Murtrie's thigh after his pants got wet. Embarrassed, she steadied herself and distanced herself from Murtrie.

“You found out beforehand.” Murtrie opened his clasp and handed Ancia a dull black dagger. “A gift for your enrollment.”

The man under the moonlight was soaked with water, the thin fabric clinging tightly to his chest. Ancia could clearly see that his hands were very steady, but his cheeks were faintly red.

How come she never noticed before that Murtrie was a shy, big-breasted male mother?

It seemed that Ancia's prolonged silence had led him to misunderstand; Mortley's dark red eyes dimmed. "I'm sorry, a dagger is not a very welcome gift..."
