Blood Hunter Again

Blood Hunter Again

After Fan Liye returned home to rest for a while, he took Fan Jieen to the city. He believed the words of the stall owner more than those of the vampires.

At least the other party didn't know his identity and showed goodwill to him.

Fan Liye came to the stall owner, who immediately smiled and said, "Come on, I prepared a small dessert for you."

The stall owner took out a small piece of cake from the side and handed it to Fan Liye with a smile: "Try it quickly, it's new, I spent some time to grab it."

Fan Liye took the cake and walked over to the stall owner and sat down. "Will the vampires also grab the new cakes?"

"Of course, who doesn't want to try something delicious?" the stall owner said with a smile. "If you like desserts, your blood intake will actually be relatively low. After all, a single serving can only last three or four months."

"So that's how it is. I still know too little." Fan Liye said lightly. Even though he had lived here for six years before, he had only communicated with the ancestor and had never been to the city, so he knew very little.

"It's okay. If you don't know, just ask. I'll tell you everything." The stall owner smiled. "By the way, the Vampire King has changed. The new king has taken office. It is said that he is a younger vampire."

"..." Fan Liye nodded, "I heard about it."

After getting familiar with the stall owner, Fan Liye confessed his story to him, but not only did the other party not blame him for deceiving him, he felt even more sorry for him.

Why, didn't he lie to him?

“…Why don’t you blame me?” Fan Liye suddenly said.

The stall owner was teasing Fan Jinn, but was stunned when he heard his words: "What do you blame me for?"

Fan Liye said: "When I first came here, I lied to you and said I was a vampire."

"Oh, about this." The stall owner rubbed Fan Jin's head and said with a smile, "You were a blood hunter at the time, and we were enemies. It's normal for you to deceive me for the sake of humans.

And then you were assimilated into a vampire, so pitiful, I can't blame you. Besides, you didn't lie to me again, you confessed to me what happened before, how could I blame you.

I am more worried about you. You have been assimilated by the First Ancestor. What if he loses interest in you and abandons you? I have been worried about this.

If... I mean if, the ancestor no longer wants you, treats you badly, you escape and come to me, I will raise you.

You are still so young and so innocent, I am afraid that you will be deceived by them."

Fan Liye's heart ached, and he lowered his head and took a bite of the cake: "You won't... lie to me?"

The stall owner quickly said, "Oh, how could that be? I'm telling the truth. Assimilated vampires often come here. I've seen quite a few.

If they have no ability to survive, they will be sold into slavery, bullied and cheated. The first time I met you, I felt that you were very simple and pure, which is something that other vampires do not have.

Alas, you are so pitiful, I really feel bad for you."

The stall owner sighed several times, took out another small piece of cake from his pocket and handed it to Fan Jinn: "And this kitten, I can also support you. If that ancestor treats you badly, you can come to me."

Fan Liye didn't say anything else and slowly finished his pastries. He didn't know whether he should trust the stall owner.

Weren't those blood hunters real to him? In the end, they were all fake. All the care, worry, and emotions were fake.

"It's delicious..." Fan Liye said slowly.

The stall owner then laughed and said, "It's delicious. I'll go grab a few more next time."

"But it's a bit too sweet..." Fan Liye said.

The stall owner nodded in understanding: "Then I'll buy something less sweet next time."

Fan Liye didn't say anything else. He sat next to the stall owner and watched him run his stall.

Fan Jian was lying on the stall with his belly exposed, wagging his tail and grabbing the stall owner's fingers. The stall owner was teasing him happily.

"This looks pretty good. How much is it?" a boy came and asked, pointing at a badge.

Fan Liye looked at the badge. It was modeled after the ancestor's identity badge. The stall owner had given him such a badge, but unfortunately he gave it to Sylvia.

The stall owner was talking about the price. Fan Liye looked up, but the other party quickly looked away, which made him a little confused. He soon realized that the other party was Blood Hunter.

Fan Liye did nothing. If the other party didn't do anything, he wouldn't do anything either. There was no need for him to expose the other party, and it would not be good to cause a commotion here.

Xue Lie moved his gaze back but found that Fan Liye was still staring at him. Their eyes met and Fan Liye looked at the other person's eyes which were not red and confirmed his identity.

Xuelie quickly lowered his head and moved his arms slightly. Fan Liye immediately flashed in front of him, took out the dagger from his waist and pressed it against his neck. He leaned forward and pressed against the other party, trying not to expose either side's weapons.

The stall owner was a little confused and asked, "What's wrong?"

Fan Liye held the other man's gun down with one hand and pressed a dagger against his neck with the other, whispering, "A newbie? How dare you use a gun to kill someone in this place?"

In order to avoid arousing the suspicion of the stall owner, Fan Liye said, "Nothing, I just want to talk to him."

"...But why are you standing so close?" the stall owner said, "If you want to chat, go ahead. I'll be watching, Gene."

Fan Liye nodded, and pushed the other person away from the stall owner to prevent the other person from accidentally hurting the stall owner if he started fighting.

Fan Liye looked around and noticed someone's eyes on him. He immediately realized that it was the captain of this group.

"Who are you? You have silver in your hand." Blood Hunter asked, "Are you going to attack me because of the vampires?"

"Since you just locked eyes with me, you should know I'm not human." Fan Liye whispered, "Put away your gun. No matter which vampire dies, it will cause a commotion. Don't think you can just shoot with the silencer on."

Blood Hunter said calmly, "Put away your dagger first."

"You are not qualified to talk to me. It would be easy for me to kill you." Fan Liye said coldly, "Put away your gun and I will let you go."

"Why should I believe you?" Xuelie said.

Fan Liye whispered, "If you didn't want to do it, I wouldn't have done it. You should know that there's a huge speed difference between you and me. How can we talk about trust? You put away your gun for the possibility of survival."

Blood Hunter was silent for a moment, then slowly put away his pistol. Fan Liye continued, "Don't even think about attacking me again. If I can outsmart you once, I can outsmart you a second time. The agility of the vampires is something you'll learn in your first lesson, so you should be very clear about it."

Fan Liye put away his dagger after he finished speaking. Xuelie frowned and asked, "How do you know this?"

Fan Liye just chuckled, put the dagger back on his waist and returned to the stall owner: "We're done talking."

"He looks unwell," said the stall owner.

After watching Xuelie leave, Fan Liye smiled at the stall owner and said, "Forget him."

The stall owner nodded and began to tell Fan Liye about recent events while selling his goods. Fan Liye listened quietly and nodded from time to time.

The blood hunt is here again. Who will encounter them this time? Will Pani, Benjamin and the others not kill them as he said before?

Fan Liye didn't think much about it. He looked at the stall owner and smiled. He was the new king now. Would the other party be afraid of him because of this?

Let’s not talk about this matter. The vampires in the urban area will not come into contact with the Vampire King.
