Don't leave

Don't leave

After leaving the protected area, Fan Liye's movements became much easier. Although there were more blood hunters in the disaster area, they would all stay in their own areas and would not interfere too much with other areas. They would all focus on observing the movements of the blood clan areas and pay less attention to the movements in the disaster area.

Because of Fan Liye, there are more patrol teams in the disaster-stricken area, but not as many as in the protected area. They are more concerned about the invasion of vampires.

Because of his injuries, Fan Liye's movements were somewhat restricted. His clothes were stained with blood, and the arm wounded by the silver weapon had not yet healed, only stopped bleeding. When a vampire is wounded by silver, it can only heal with medicine like ordinary people, and cannot heal through its own healing ability.

Late at night, Fan Liye and Fan Jien swapped clothes for easier movement. He was the primary target, and blood on his clothes would be more obvious. Fan Jien was unknown, and he could usually turn into a cat on him, so wearing bloody clothes wouldn't have much of an impact.

At daybreak, Fan Liye and Fan Jin quickly headed towards the border. Having previously been a member of the frontline team, he knew the layout and strictness of the frontline. Hiding from the frontline's sight was extremely difficult. They monitored both the vampire area and the surrounding areas to ensure they didn't miss any traces of the vampires.

This meant that no matter which direction Fan Liye went, he would be detected by the front line. The frontline scouts would conduct surveys throughout the day, rotating in shifts, with no time to slack off. During the day, the frontline team would train, and at night they would even participate in reconnaissance. This made it difficult for Fan Liye to avoid their sight at night.

It seems that it is not possible to leave secretly. If you force your way out, you may be able to avoid it with the vampires' natural speed, but you will also be hit by bullets from the front-line members.

Fan Liye thought of the "E" mark on his face, a mark only found on the weakest vampires. If he revealed it to the front line, they would only send one team to capture him. However, his face was the primary target, and if his appearance was exposed, they would probably send more than just one team.

This is really difficult.

Fan Liye thought about it and decided to act at night. Their vision would be limited at night, and all the frontline members would have gone to bed. It would take some time for them to get out of the house after they found him. This would give him some time to leave quickly.

As night fell, Fan Liye hid in a corner, waiting for Xuelie to go to bed. Late at night, he finally came out of the corner and started walking towards the border.

It was impossible for him to hide from the sight of the front line, and he didn't want to attack the Blood Hunter, so he could only find an opportunity to escape.

Fan Liye bypassed the frontline team and walked into the forest toward the border. A moment later, he heard a noise in the distance. He wouldn't have sounded the alarm if he were alone, but as a vampire, his hearing had been enhanced, allowing him to hear the footsteps of several people entering the forest. Hearing the noise meant they weren't far away, and with that in mind, he quickened his pace toward the border.

The night was very quiet, and if he moved too fast, his footsteps would betray him. Fan Liye did not intend to confront those blood hunters head-on. He chose to walk lightly to avoid detection by those front-line members.

"Fan."

A voice stopped Fan Liye's steps, and his body was soon illuminated by a beam of light, and then more and more beams of light appeared.

He should have known it earlier. Since Basel was going to take action, why wouldn't Adolf do the same?

Fan Liye turned around and looked. That was the person he was most familiar with and the person who understood him best.

Don is his teacher and the person who takes care of him the most; Bazel is his brother and the person who understands him the most; and Adolf is his confidant, the person who knows him best and knows best what he will do.

"You are very smart." Adolf said lightly. He looked at Fan Liye's face calmly, shining the flashlight in his hand on him. "But you forgot about me, forgot that I would guess what you would think."

Adolph Michael. Human, Class A Blood Hunter, Captain of the C-Sector Patrol.

"Are you already a vampire?" Adolf slowly walked towards Fan Liye, looking into his bloodshot eyes. "I know this process is painful and agonizing. You've been amazing, persisting for so long. If it were me, I wouldn't have been able to hold on for even a moment."

Fan Liye didn't move, allowing Adolf to slowly approach him. He then watched as he stood before him. Adolf reached out and gently stroked Fan Liye's face, saying slowly, "It was painful, wasn't it? Now it seems like you've been liberated and feel a lot more relaxed. No more pain, no more suffering, a sense of relief. Have you accepted this identity and no longer feel the pain from it?"

"Adolf." Fan Liye reached out and took Adolf's hand away, saying calmly, "Whatever you want to say, if you want to fight, I will accompany you."

"If you want, I think everyone here will die at your hands. And I know you don't want to kill us. You were once a blood hunter, and a child of God." Adolf withdrew his hand and put it in his pocket. "Fan, come home with me, okay? I will pray to God. I will kneel before God every day, praying that God will wash away your sinful blood and make you a human being."

Fan Liye didn't have any thoughts about Adolf's words, but he felt a restlessness deep in his heart. He was unhappy with Adolf's words and wanted to mock him loudly.

He frowned and said calmly: "Adolf, I will not go back with you. God has given up on me."

"Fan, God hasn't given up on you. I will pray to him." Adolf's tone was filled with anxiety.

Fan Liye shook his head: "After I became a vampire, the first person who wanted to capture me and kill me was God. Adolf, when I was a human, I naturally believed in God, but now I am a vampire, God means nothing to me..."

"Fan!" Adolf immediately stopped Fan Liye's words, "Are you going to bow to the sinful blood of vampires?"

"I've done enough." Fan Liye said coldly, "I won't go back with you. If you want to take me back by force, I won't let you do that."

Adolf was silent for a moment after hearing this, then he slowly said, "Is there no room for negotiation, Fan? I actually don't want to do anything to you. I... cherish you very much."

As soon as he finished speaking, the sound of gunfire broke the quiet night, and blood stained the military uniform. Adolf looked at the other party with sad eyes, but his tone was extremely cold: "Fan, don't leave, I won't allow you to leave."

Blood immediately stained his clothes. Fan Liye frowned and stumbled back a few steps. The man who had said he cherished him had already gripped his pistol, waiting for the opportunity. The blood flowed uncontrollably, the bullet lodged deep in his abdomen, and the pain instantly spread throughout his body, leaving him unable to speak.

Then gunshots continued to ring out, and other blood hunters followed Adolf's actions and shot at Fan Liye.
