"roll!!"

Fan Liye suddenly woke up and had a splitting headache. He gritted his teeth and held his head to relieve the pain.

The sudden shout startled Claire who was standing beside him. She looked over and asked cautiously, "Are you...are you okay?"

Fan Liye suddenly looked over, and his fierce eyes made the other party take two steps back.

He slowed down and lowered his voice: "Why are you in my room?"

"I came to see you..." Claire coughed lightly. "You seem to be having a seizure. I saw blood on Nibel's body and came back to change his clothes. No one can hurt him except you."

"It has nothing to do with you." Fan Liye calmed down a little and got up from the bed.

"I... I'm just worried about you." Claire followed behind Fan Liye and whispered, "I don't care about you..."

Fan Liye glanced at her and said, "Since you don't care, then get out."

"..." Claire was slightly surprised, but she could still hear it. "Do you expect me to...care?"

"Not really." Fan Liye said calmly, "You are a human being. Once your injuries are healed, you must leave. Why would you care about me?"

Claire gritted her teeth, slightly angry: "Yeah, I'm a human, why should I care about you!"

Fan Liye calmly pointed to the door: "Well, then go out."

Claire left angrily. Fan Liye took a sip of water and didn't understand what she was angry about.

After resting for a while, he felt even worse. He rubbed his temples and decided not to dream again.

Fan Liye went out and called Nibel: "Order those ancestors to stop invading human territory and stay in the blood clan area."

Invading human territory would only cause human disgust, so for the sake of future peace, they could no longer go to human territory. He also didn't want these ancestors to die at the hands of humans, so staying here was the best option.

Nibel responded and passed the order down.

However, once he issues this order, some people will probably not obey it. If something goes wrong, he can use it as an example to scare the monkeys.

After the order was passed down, Fan Liye quietly waited at home to see who would disobey first. However, he didn't expect that after a few days, these guys became very honest and did not do anything.

Fan Liye arrived in the yard, where Dan was standing. He walked over, not quite understanding why Dan had come to see him. Dan was reading a book, and when she heard the noise, she put it away and looked at him.

"□□ bowed respectfully.

Fan Liye said calmly, "What's the matter?"

Dan looked at Fan Liye and thought for a moment: "In fact, people from the Ancestor lineage rarely go to human territory. Issuing a ban now is a bit unnecessary and will cause dissatisfaction among some Ancestors."

Fan Liye responded calmly and motioned Dan to continue.

Dan paused and continued, "All the ancestors know that the king was a blood hunter before, and many of them think that you may still remember our old relationship.

I stepped forward to explain that they would not invade human territory for the time being, but after that...it would be difficult to control."

To be honest, this group of ancestors did not obey him very much. Instead, they had a certain fear and obedience to Dan, and believed that his say had more weight.

"Are you challenging my authority?" Fan Liye said calmly, looking over. "Do I need you to step in again to pass on the order I passed on?"

Dan was stunned for a moment and shook his head: "I am the gang leader, I don't have such an idea."

"They all seem to think that your say carries more weight." Fan Liye said, "My orders are not enough for them to obey, but yours are.

Isn't it a bit putting the cart before the horse, are you the king or am I?"

"The king is still young. I've lived for a thousand years, so I just have the advantage in age," Dan said calmly. "They're just dissatisfied because they think the king is too young and lacks experience."

Fan Liye sneered, "Too young? Strength is paramount for vampires. Since when did they start caring about age?"

Dan chuckled softly, "Of course strength comes first, but for us, the king's current age is like a child ascending to the throne in the old days. The ancestors who wanted to save face would naturally be a little dissatisfied."

He is currently eighteen years old, and facing a group of ancestors who are thousands of years old, he is really no different from a child.

"Some of the ancestors are very jealous. They are all a bunch of arrogant guys. How could they accept such a young person becoming their master?"

Dan continued, "They're just too proud to accept that the king is stronger than them. Strength is paramount, as per the lineage of the ancestors. As I said before, letting them face death directly is also a good method."

Fan Liye stared into Dan's eyes and asked, "What about you?"

Dan didn't understand Fan Liye's question for a moment, but after thinking about it, he finally understood. He immediately knelt on one knee in front of him, gently stroking his heart with one hand and raising the other hand to Fan Liye: "I know the king's strength, so naturally I will submit to him and be loyal to him."

Fan Liye narrowed his eyes as he looked at Dan's respectful expression.

loyalty?

He doesn't believe it, he won't believe anyone else.

The only person you can trust is yourself.

"The ancestor who prioritized strength was merely a succumb to strength, not to mention loyalty." Fan Liye said coldly, "If I die, you will be the king."

Dan smiled and said, "Yes, if the king dies, there will be no pure blood left, so I will naturally be the king. But I won't do that, please rest assured, king."

"You either can't do it or you won't do it."

Dan smiled faintly and said respectfully, "I can't do it."

Fan Liye opened his thin lips slightly and uttered a word lightly: "Get lost."

Dan didn't get angry, he stood up and saluted again: "As you wish."

Dan left. Fan Liye turned to look at the person hiding nearby and said, "Do you really think you can't feel it if you hide there?"

Claire paused, then walked over awkwardly: "I...I didn't mean to eavesdrop."

Fan Liye didn't say anything, so Claire quickly continued to explain: "I was just passing by and accidentally overheard it. I didn't hear much!"

Fan Liye looked at him calmly and said slowly, "If your injury is almost healed, then leave."

Claire was stunned. She grabbed Fan Liye's sleeve and looked over: "Are you chasing me away?"

"You don't belong here. I'm not driving you away. I'm letting you go back to where you belong." Fan Liye raised his hand and pulled Claire's hand away.

Claire quickly said, "The vampire realm is so dangerous! Even if I recover from my injuries, I may not be able to leave here alive!"

Fan Liye said calmly: "I'll let Nibel take you to the border."

"You..." Claire huffed, "Okay! My injury will be almost healed soon."

Fan Liye didn't understand why the other party was angry again, so he just nodded: "That's good."

"Okay?" Claire became even angrier and raised her hand to punch Fan Liye in the chest.

The punch wasn't very powerful, but it was definitely not light. Claire was stunned for a moment, and took a step back in fear, staring at Fan Liye with fear in her eyes.

Fan Liye didn't care about the punch. Compared with his previous experiences, this punch didn't hurt at all. He said calmly, "Then take a good rest."

Claire was a little stunned. Fan Liye was fierce to those vampires, but quite indulgent to her. Why was that?

Claire blushed immediately: "I don't need you to remind me!"

After she said that, she ran away immediately. Fan Liye didn't understand what she was thinking, so he didn't pay much attention to it.
