Showdown
Dan looked over when he heard Pani's voice. Pani forced a smile and walked over to Fan Liye, putting his arm around his waist: "Thank you for your concern for my people."
"Here we go again." The first person to be unhappy about this was Fan Jin. He immediately transformed into a human, walked in front of Fan Liye, stretched out his hand to separate them, and protected Fan Liye behind him, "Stop touching my master."
"Uh..." Lance had seen Van Gene and Pani at odds with each other many times and was used to it, but now that he was in front of Dan, he still spoke up to remind him, "Be careful."
Dan looked at Pani's hands that were around Fan Liye's waist. After they were separated, he shifted his gaze to Fan Liye's face and said calmly, "I didn't mean anything else."
"Don't mind it, First Duke." Benjamin said, "That's just Pani's personality. There's no other meaning."
"Since Fan is alright, I'll be leaving first," Dan said calmly. "See you next time, Fan."
Fan Liye nodded politely and said, "See you next time."
Lance looked at Fan Liye, then at Dan. Dan didn't say anything more, turned around and left. Lance hurriedly followed him.
Seeing them leave, Benjamin looked at Pani and frowned, saying, "Pani, can you restrain yourself? They are dukes."
"Don't think that the master is your property. You have no right to interfere no matter who he comes into contact with." Fan Jin said coldly.
Pani looked at Fanjian, his expression terribly gloomy. Seeing Pani's expression, Fanjian's expression also darkened.
He calmed down and looked at Fan Liye, saying softly, "Master, you must be tired. Go back and have some rest first."
Fan Liye nodded. He couldn't interfere in the affairs between Pani and Fan Jieen. Because of him, Pani had become much more restrained towards Fan Jieen. He would not resist anything Fan Jieen said.
If he asked Fan Gene not to target him, Fan Gene would be sad again.
After Fan Liye left, Fan Jin turned to look at Pani and said coldly, "I know you are unhappy with me. Now that the master is gone, you can vent your anger."
Pani frowned, and Fanjian continued, "I am an outsider. The purity of the blood among your vampires determines everything and has nothing to do with me. I am not a human who is weaker than you in speed and strength."
"What do you want to say?" Pani said in a deep voice.
"Fight me," Van Gene said, "I need to let you know that if you do anything to the Master that makes me angry, I will make you pay the price."
Pani sneered: "Outsider, are you too confident in your own abilities?"
"You're the one who's overconfident in your abilities." Fan Gene laughed sarcastically, "Want to give it a try?"
Seeing this, Benjamin stepped in between them, stopping each with one hand: "It's not that serious..."
"Get out of the way." Pani's face turned cold, "I won't show mercy to you because of the young master."
Fan Jin said: "I never thought of showing mercy to you."
Benjamin was about to intervene when Pani kicked him aside. Van Gene quickly took action. His status as an outsider wasn't limited to the differences between a human and a cat; his strength wasn't weak.
Van Gene's speed is better than that of humans but naturally not as fast as vampires. However, he has agility that neither vampires nor humans have.
He could feel everything that was happening around him, including the changes in the wind, and relying on this, he could quickly determine Pani's location.
Even if he couldn't see Pani's movements clearly, he could still tell Pani's location from the changes around him.
As a cat, he naturally has claws. He immediately stretched out his hand and swung it hard behind him. Pani dodged sideways and hit Van Gene on the head.
Fan Jin immediately turned into a cat to avoid the attack and easily jumped onto Pani's shoulder. Because the target was a bit small, Pani did not block Fan Jin's action. It would have been better if she had hidden.
Fan Jinn instantly turned into a human and used his weight to pin Pani under him, pressing Pani's head to the ground. Pani also reacted quickly, turned over and grabbed Fan Jinn's neck.
Because of Fan Liye, Fan Jieen could attack Pani at will, but Pani did not dare to attack Fan Jieen harshly.
He retracted his hand and threw Fan Jian out, then patted the dust off his body and said calmly: "Okay, I know the extent of your ability."
Fan Jian stood firm and looked at Pani, snorting and laughing, "You know why I dare to provoke you? I know that you won't attack me because of your master, so I will take advantage of your master to attack you later."
Pani frowned: "What do you want."
"Don't touch my master, don't provoke my master. If you behave yourself, I won't do anything." Fan Jinn said, "You should know from the fight just now that I can hurt you."
Pani sighed softly, "How can you, an outsider, possess such strength?"
"Outsiders don't belong to humans or vampires. They have no place to stay. To survive, they need a certain level of strength." Fan Jinn said, "If you think about it carefully, you will understand the reason."
After saying this, Fan Jian turned around and left without saying anything more to Panido.
After seeing Fan Jinn leave, Benjamin walked over to Pani and patted his shoulder to comfort him: "You really are..."
I fell in love with an incredible person.
"I'm so fed up." Pani gritted her teeth. "What can I do? I'm a vampire and he's human. How can I get close to him except by hiding my identity? I can't become human. How can I stand by his side except by assimilating him? He's a blood hunter! A hunter who kills vampires. What can I do?!"
The more Pani spoke, the more he broke down, and his voice became louder and louder. He raised his hands to cover his eyes and began to breathe heavily, trying to suppress his emotions.
"Benjamin..." Pani's voice trembled a little. "Tell me...if it happens again, what should I do..."
Hearing Pani's choked voice, Benjamin looked at him in disbelief and felt very distressed.
They have lived together for so long and have never seen Pani like this, but there is nothing they can do about it. What Pani did is unforgivable.
"I don't know." Benjamin sighed and patted Pani's shoulder gently. "Don't think too much."
Pani's emotions were unstable, and Benjamin had been with him for a long time. As an outsider, he felt that Fan Liye would never forgive Pani.
He also came into contact with Fan Liye, who was also a blood hunter. The other party would even choose to sacrifice himself to contribute to humanity.
How could such a person forgive the vampires who assimilated him into an enemy?
All that remains between them is whether Pani will fade away her feelings for Fan Liye in the future, otherwise all she will get is pain.
Benjamin sighed. Their ancestors were very indifferent to such things, which might not be a bad thing. Perhaps toning down such feelings was a way of protecting them.
Just look at Tiffany and you will know that if you have this kind of relationship, you will suffer a lot.
