Claire was startled and was about to run when Fan Liye's voice came over: "Claire, come in."
Pani frowned even deeper. Claire didn't dare to disobey Fan Liye's order and walked in slowly. Pani grabbed her collar and dragged her in.
Seeing Pani being so rude to Claire, Fan Liye warned: "Gregory, don't be so rude, she is a girl."
"What's wrong with girls?" said Pani.

Fan Liye said, "I should be the one asking you this. I was the one who hurt you just now. Are you okay? Are there any wounds left? Does it hurt?"
Hearing Fan Liye's concern, Pani shifted her gaze elsewhere and whispered, "No..."
He would still be happy because of Fan Liye's concern, and thus regard everything that had happened as nothing. He knew that this was very spineless, but he couldn't control it.
"Young Master didn't use his abilities, so he can't do anything to me." Pani turned his gaze to Fan Liye and said, "I'm not feeling unwell. How about Young Master? Is your head still hurting?"
Fan Liye shook his head. Just as Panny was about to ask something, she saw Claire shut up again and stood there quietly.
Fan Liye sensed Pani's thoughts and could probably guess what he wanted to ask. He didn't want to say much about Pani's madness, nor did he want to tell the other ancestors.
He is the Vampire King but he is a madman. He just appeared out of nowhere and there are the ancestors who oppose him. He cannot tell this to others.
"Since it's nothing, let's go back first." Fan Liye said, "You've lost a lot of blood, go back and rest."
Pani pursed his lips and glanced at Claire. Since Fan Liye had said so, there was no reason for him to stay any longer. He didn't have anything to say. He came just to see Fan Liye.
Pani nodded and left without saying anything else. Nibel didn't stay any longer either, and left the room together.
After they all left, Fan Liye looked at Claire and said, "Are you feeling better now? They've all left."
Claire nodded slowly, and Fan Liye raised his hand so she could see clearly. She was still holding his hand even after everyone left. Claire quickly let go of his hand, took a few steps back, and her face flushed.
"If you're frightened, go back and rest first." Fan Liye said calmly, "Do you need me to take you back?"
Hearing this, Claire quickly shook her head and ran away.
Seeing Claire's panic, Fan Liye felt confused, but didn't care much about it. He went to the office to continue thinking.
