227. Chapter 227 Zombies

Just as the coffin lid flew out, a zombie dressed in Qing Dynasty official uniform stood up straight.

Everyone was mentally prepared, but they were still startled by the zombie that suddenly jumped up.

"This NPC looks quite real. The face powder is so white. Is he cosplaying from Lam Ching-ying's zombie movies?" A brave boy stepped forward to take a closer look and even pulled the zombie's hand.

"Oh, your hands are still strong! The props are quite complete, and the touch is simulated. If it weren't in a haunted house, I would have thought it was a real zombie."

The boy exclaimed in surprise. Seeing everyone retreating in fear, and a large group of girls screaming, he became even more cocky. "Oh, what's there to be afraid of? It's just an NPC. I've been watching zombie movies since I was a child. It's not scary at all."

He looked at his girlfriend and said, "Ruanruan, come here, let's take a photo together."

However, his girlfriend Tang Ruan stood there stiffly, looking behind him in horror, "Ying Ci, you, behind you..."

Ying Ci turned his head in confusion and saw that the zombie was also staring at him, with its mouth open and fangs exposed.

"So cool!" Ying Ci exclaimed, "This tooth looks quite real. Which crew borrowed it from?"

He reached out to touch it, and the zombie opened its mouth wide and bit his hand.

However, Ying Ci quickly retracted his claws and said with a sly smile, "Ah, I can't bite!"

Shi Ling's mouth twitched, and she stood quietly by and watched him commit suicide.

Her eyes fell on the mahogany coffin containing the zombie.

Just now she thought it was a prop from the haunted house and didn't pay much attention to it. Now she realized that the golden lines on the mahogany coffin looked like some kind of seal.

On the other side, Ying Ci repeatedly reached out his hand to tease the zombie, so that the zombie jumped out of the coffin in frustration.

Ying Ci took a step back and recorded the video with his mobile phone, "Oh, so amazing, he can even jump out of such a high coffin."

The people who had just witnessed the zombie showing its fangs and were frightened, now saw that Ying Ci was fine and was still playing with ghosts, and they all believed that this was an NPC in the haunted house, and they all came closer to interact with the zombie.

Ruan Ruan also walked over to Ying Ci and patted her chest: "I was scared to death. This NPC is too realistic. I was scared when it grew fangs just now. I thought it was a real zombie."

Ying Ci laughed and said, "Real zombies would be antiques, right? Happy Valley wouldn't build a haunted house and then invite real ghosts in, would it?"

Just as Ying Ci was joking with his girlfriend, the zombie, who was annoyed by being watched and photographed by the crowd, grew longer nails on both hands and slapped Ying Ci with a claw.

"A sneak attack? I'll block it!"

Ying Ci stretched out his arm to block.

He thought the zombie just patted him lightly for the sake of interaction, but he didn't expect the sharp nails to tear his coat and scratch his flesh.

Shi Ling had no time to stop Ying Ci's suicidal behavior.

It's fine if you say you're hiding, but why are you pretending to be so cool and blocking something?

Ying Ci rolled up his sleeves and looked at the wound, angrily scolding: "Damn, how come your props are so sharp? My clothes are cut and my arm is bleeding!"

Behind the crowd, the haunted house NPC who was running slowly towards them was wearing a ghost mask and a black cloak. Seeing that everyone was blocking the way and couldn't run away, his heart skipped a beat.

What the hell, what are these tourists planning? Are they going to ambush him, an NPC?

He approached cautiously and was slightly stunned when he saw the zombie wearing Qing Dynasty official uniform surrounded by people.

Why didn't he remember that there were zombie NPCs in the haunted house?
