Chapter 93: Memory Error



She caressed Shen Zekai's sick face tenderly and held him in her arms:

"I will always be with you."

The embrace in front of me was so warm that it felt like a dream.

Shen Zekai leaned in Wen Jingyi's arms, and finally lost his balance, his eyes red and in silent pain.

On the top floor of the same ward, Mo Yunfan placed Wen Jingyi safely.

He placed his warm palm on Wen Jingyi's forehead tenderly, sighed, and was about to get up and leave.

But Wen Jingyi seemed to be in a nightmare. She suddenly opened her eyes and grabbed Mo Yunfa's hands.

"Don't go!"

"Mom and Dad...don't leave me."

Her eyes were blank, and she was obviously immersed in her own memories.

Mo Yunfan followed Wen Jingyi's strength and sat beside her, whispering to comfort her: "Don't be afraid, it's all over. Your parents also want you to be happy."

After a long time, Wen Jingyi's eyes finally regained clarity.

She wiped the wet tear marks on her face, awkwardly let go of her hands and leaned against the hospital bed.

When Wen Jingyi saw the petals left on the ground out of the corner of her eye, she said "Huh?" in confusion and asked, "Why are there flowers in the ward? Did you buy them?"

"What?" Mo Yunfan met her confused eyes and asked with a frown, "You don't remember?"

Wen Jingyi shook her head: "Remember what?"

Looking at her bewildered and completely confused expression, Mo Yunfan's heart sank again and again.

He held Wen Jingyi's hand silently, and tried to make his voice as gentle and patient as possible, for fear of scaring the fragile Wen Jingyi.

Her memory...

Mo Yunfan's voice was low and dry. He asked hoarsely, "You don't remember what happened?"
