Chapter 10 He Still Hates Her

Chapter 10 He Still Hates Her

The cliff was steep and rocky, bottomless, like a bloody mouth with ferocious fangs exposed, swallowing up the stone and about to swallow Cen Wan.

She looked stunned and turned to look at Shen Yixiao: "Didn't you promise me that you would think about it?"

Shen Yixiao raised his eyelids and said slowly, "I've thought about it and decided to throw it away."

Cen Wan raised her eyes and met the malice and sarcasm in his eyes.

Those dark eyes were full of coldness.

He did it on purpose.

Deliberately playing her around.

In his heart, he still hated her.

Cen Wan just stared at him, her expression changing from astonishment to understanding.

The sadness that just surged up was suppressed by her.

The two of them confronted each other for a long time. The mountain breeze blew past, blowing up Cen Wan's long hair, and the ends of her hair gently brushed across Shen Yixiao's arm.

The next second, she took a step back.

Cen Wanqing looked at him with her piercing eyes, her tone calm and gentle: "If doing this can make you feel better, I have nothing to say."

"It's just Shen Yixiao, you can hate me, but don't hate me for too long."

"If you've hated me, please let me go."

Let yourself go too.

Let go?

Shen Yixiao stared at Cen Wan with his dark eyes without blinking, his expression fierce and oppressive, his face almost blending into the night behind him.

He looked at the beautiful face in front of him, with delicate eyebrows and eyes that were clear and pure, without a trace of emotion at all.

It seemed like everything was just his fault.

A ball of rage suddenly rose in Shen Yixiao's chest, burning his reason. He wanted to strangle this heartless woman to death!

"Let you go? Why should I let you go?"

"It's easy to crush an ant, but I prefer to torture it little by little until it is in a state of being unable to live or die."

Shen Yixiao's voice was cold, as if covered with a layer of frost, and it was chilling and piercing.

Cen Wan's heart stagnated, and a silent bitterness overflowed.

She moved her lips, but all the words were stuck in her throat and she couldn't utter a single word.

The last ray of golden light in the sky also disappeared into the clouds, and the sky turned into a blue and white color like fish scales.

Cen Wan looked down at the bottomless cliff below, her heart trembling. If she took another step forward, she would be shattered to pieces, doomed forever.

She was already stuck in the mud, how much worse could it get?

She raised her eyes to look at Shen Yixiao's sharp profile and said softly, "I don't deserve your hatred, but if this makes you feel better, then hate me."

Shen Yixiao's hands hanging at his sides suddenly clenched, as if he had punched cotton. He felt powerless and annoyed, with no way to vent the frustration in his heart.

He gritted his teeth, suppressed the irritation in his heart, and strode past her, bringing up a gust of wind.

The car door was slammed shut, and the tires made a sharp and piercing sound as they rubbed against the ground. Cen Wan turned around and saw the black sports car turn around quickly and rush out, leaving her with only a blurry rear end.

Cen Wan stood there, with a moment of confusion on her fair little face. She stared blankly at the direction where Shen Yixiao left, and it took her a long time to come back to her senses.

Not many people usually come to this mountain, and taxis are hard to come by. Seeing that it was getting dark, Cen Wan had no choice but to walk back along the winding mountain road.

A winding asphalt road, with no one or cars on the road, only the dim light from the street lamps at intervals and the chirping of insects from the grass and trees beside the road.

She was meeting a client this afternoon, so she was dressed a little more formally, and her high-heeled boots made it difficult to walk on the road.

Cen Wan's mind was distracted as she kept thinking about Shen Yixiao's expression and harsh words just now.

While going downhill, she accidentally stepped on a stone and fell forward, hitting her knee hard on the curb.

Cen Wan was stunned for a moment, kneeling on the ground and not getting up for a long time.

She lowered her eyes, her eyelashes trembled, and a crystal tear suddenly rolled down the road without warning, wetting a small area.

There was a sharp pain in her knees and palms, and Cen Wan's nose felt sore. She could hardly control her emotions.

Grievances and sadness filled her chest, breaking down the defenses she had built with great difficulty.

The mountain was cold but quiet at night. She fell to the ground, raised her hand and touched herself, only to realize that she was crying.

She hadn't cried in a long time.

It had been so long that she had forgotten what it felt like to cry.

She checked her knee and saw it was scraped.

She took off her high heels, supported herself on both sides and tried to stand up, but she pulled the wound and fell back down.

At this moment, she suddenly felt a strong sense of powerlessness.

Or so it goes, freezing to death in the mountains, being eaten by wild animals, or falling off a cliff are all better than her life.

She was in a daze, and suddenly, accompanied by a roar, a strong and dazzling light shot towards her.

She subconsciously raised her hand to cover her eyes, and only looked over after she adjusted herself, and stood there in a daze.

Shen Yixiao put one hand on the steering wheel, sat in the car, and looked at her expressionlessly.

Suddenly, she turned away, afraid to see the mockery and ridicule in his eyes.

Under the bright and dazzling car lights, Shen Yixiao saw Cen Wan's appearance at the moment. She was sitting on the ground in a mess, her face was pale, the corners of her eyes were wet and red, and tears were hanging on her eyelashes.

Crying?

His heart suddenly sank, and a hint of darkness flashed across his eyes.

He opened the car door and got out. He walked up to her in a few steps with his long legs and looked down at her.

Cen Wan lowered her eyes and didn't look at him, but she felt his gaze that could not be ignored, and her eyelashes trembled.

The night breeze was cool, and the leaves rustled. Shen Yixiao's deep voice rang out.

"How long do you plan to stay here?"

Cen Wan looked up and looked at him with some confusion. What did he mean?

Shen Yixiao opened his thin lips slightly, and said in a mocking tone: "Are you waiting for me to pick you up?"

Cen Wan's pupils shrank slightly: "I'm not..."

She thought he was there to laugh at her.

She stood up stiffly with her knees bent, not wanting to expose her vulnerability, but her abnormal posture still allowed Shen Yixiao to see the clue.

Shen Yixiao raised the corners of his eyes slightly, and his gaze swept over, stopping on her torn skirt, his black eyes paused slightly.

Cen Wan stood up and took a limping step. The next second, she was carried up by Shen Yixiao.

The upside-down position made her brain feel a little dizzy and she was stuffed into the car before she could react. The door was slammed shut.

Shen Yixiao went around to the other side to get in the car, then skillfully turned the steering wheel and headed down the mountain.

Cen Wan hadn't expected him to come back to pick her up. She hesitated for a moment as she looked at his chiseled profile, then took the initiative to say, "Thank you."

Shen Yixiao sneered: "Don't be so sentimental, I just don't want to cause any deaths."

Cen Wan gripped the seatbelt tightly with her fingertips, pursed her lips, and lowered her head: "I know, but thank you anyway."

She was not left to fend for herself on the mountain.

Shen Yixiao had a cold face and looked ahead, and Cen Wan also tactfully stopped talking.

The more she talked, the more mistakes she made. She tried her best to reduce her presence, but the air pressure in the car seemed to be getting lower and lower.

She simply turned her head and looked out the window, avoiding even meeting his gaze.

Shen Yixiao caught a glimpse of her movements from the corner of his eye, and his fingers gripping the steering wheel suddenly tightened, with veins on the back of his hand emerging.

Don't you want to see me?

He must have nothing better to do to come back to her!

With nowhere to vent his frustration, the car sped up faster and faster, and Cen Wan's face turned even paler. The mountains and forests receding outside the window were pitch black, almost becoming a phantom.

She clutched the seat belt tightly and whispered, "Drive slower, it's not safe."

Shen Yixiao glanced at her sideways, his tone amusing: "Care about me?"

"You're not qualified yet."

The last sentence was tinged with sarcasm, and Cen Wan felt a little embarrassed: "I didn't mean to bother you, it's just that you were driving too fast and it was dangerous."

Shen Yixiao unlocked the car door and said casually, "You can get out anytime."

Cen Wan bit her lip. The car was going so fast that if she got out now she would either die or be crippled.

Shen Yixiao sneered: "Don't dare? Then shut up!"

Cen Wan lowered her eyes, her face pale without a trace of blood.

After an unknown amount of time, the car stopped. Cen Wan glanced out the window and paused. It was the hospital.

Shen Yixiao stopped the car, but said nothing and did not move.

After two seconds, she looked at Shen Yixiao: "Don't bother sending me to the hospital and wasting your time."

Shen Yixiao's expression instantly turned cold: "If you don't want to go to the hospital, get out of the car."

"Do you still expect me to take you home?"

Cen Wan reacted, her face turned embarrassed, and she quickly unbuckled her seat belt and got out of the car.

Before she could stand firmly, the black Pagani had already driven out without stopping for a moment. The huge roar made her eardrums hurt.
