On the day of the Olympic Games, the sky was foggy in the early morning.
The breakfast vendors were busy under the big umbrellas. People were walking quickly. Some were jogging and waving to catch the bus, while others were talking on the phone while chewing buns.
Yun Xiang stood outside the examination room, her pencil case in hand, looking at Cheng Che who was chatting with an acquaintance not far away.
The morning light filtered through the leaves, landing squarely on him. Cheng Che, wearing a gray sweatshirt, leaned against a tree with one hand folded, a look of indifference on his face.
Among all the candidates, he was the most special one, no matter his height, appearance or the unique aura.
People passing by always gave him a second look. He seemed to have long been accustomed to this kind of scrutiny, and he was lazy and casual.
"Hello, are you from No. 6 Middle School?" A girl's voice suddenly came to Yun Xiang's ears.
Yun Xiang withdrew his gaze and saw a girl with long black hair wearing the uniform of No. 3 Middle School standing in front of him. Yun Xiang nodded.
How does she know?
Maybe Yun Xiang's questioning was too obvious. She smiled and said, "You've been looking at Cheng Che the whole time. Plus, I saw you two came together, so I guess you're from the same school."
Yun Xiang didn't hear what was said afterwards. He only heard the first sentence: "You have been looking at Cheng Che."
How could she?
Yun Xiangxiang objected, then added, "I've been observing you for a long time."
Yun Xiang blushed.
"Do you like Cheng Che?" She came to Yun Xiang's side and looked in the direction Yun Xiang was looking.
Cheng Che just lowered his head and chuckled. That scene was so alluring.
Yun Xiang pursed his lips, quickly retracted his gaze, and looked silently at the girl. "Who are you?"
"One of Cheng Che's little fangirls," she said.
Yun Xiang frowned. One of the little fan girls?
It didn't seem surprising. After all, Cheng Che had appeared in various competitions, and he deserved to have people like him all over the world.
Yunxiang lowered his head, fiddled with his fingers, and said "Oh".
Cheng Che looked up and was looking towards Yun Xiang. Seeing someone talking to her, he was about to continue the conversation when he heard the girl ask.
"Are you familiar with Cheng Che?"
Yun Xiang looked at her and said, "I'm not familiar with her."
"Not at all?" the girl asked again.
Yun thought: "Not at all." His tone was as firm as steel.
Cheng Che pursed his lips and then raised an eyebrow. They were not familiar enough, they had even touched each other.
He looked away and continued chatting.
"What a pity! I thought you two knew each other well and wanted to ask you for his WeChat!" She sighed, looking very regretful.
Yun Xiang smiled awkwardly and said, "I'm sorry I can't help you."
Two young men came up from behind, and one of them called out, "Duan Miao, you're here."
"Who is this?" Someone looked at Yun Xiang.
"Hello, I'm Yunxiang from No. 6 Middle School." Yunxiang smiled and greeted them generously.
"Oh oh oh! I know. It's Yun Xiang who got second place in Guanhe just after transferring to No. 6 Middle School." The short-haired boy said excitedly.
Duan Miao asked, "So who's first?"
"Of course it's Cheng Che. You're his fangirl." A chubby boy complained.
"Are you all from No. 3 Middle School?" Yun wanted to ask.
They all nodded, "Yes."
"I'm Duan Miao. This is Xiao Jie and the fat boy Wang Zhixu. Nice to meet you." Duan Miao introduced to Yun Xiang.
Wang Zhixu: "How's it going? The exam's coming up soon. Are you nervous?"
"I'm fine, how about you guys?" Yun Xiang shook his arms, not very nervous.
"I'm nervous, but we definitely won't be able to beat that devil in the exam. There's no point in being nervous." Wang Zhixu raised his chin towards Cheng Che sitting opposite him.
Yun Xiang felt the same way.
Cheng Che is really too good, he is bound to win this kind of competition.
Duan Miao: "The important thing is to participate and make more friends."
"There are so many delicious foods near the university town. Yunxiang, do you want to go with me after the exams are over?"
Yun Xiang was about to refuse when Duan Miao said, "There's a sweets-themed online shop that's super popular."
Speaking of sweets, Yun Xiang's eyes immediately lit up, "Sweet foods?"
"Yes! The decoration is super beautiful, you can take photos here, it will be very photogenic." Duan Miao became more and more excited when he said this.
"Xiao Jie, please show Yun Xiang the video I sent you yesterday."
Xiao Jie flipped through the video and came over to Yun Xiang. "Their chocolate is very famous."

When Cheng Che looked up again, Yun Xiang was sandwiched between Xiao Jie and Duan Miao. She looked up at Duan Miao from time to time with a sweet smile on her face.
Cheng Che frowned. What were they talking about?
I don’t know what the fat man said to Yunxiang, but it made Yunxiang laugh the whole time.
Cheng Che watched as their shoulders pressed together, a complicated look in his eyes.
"Ache?" someone called him.
Cheng Che raised his eyes, "Hmm?"
His friend asked him, "What are you looking at?"
"No." Cheng Che shook his head.
Having said that, he still couldn't help but look towards Yun Xiang.
His friend noticed that he was distracted and stopped chatting.
Yun Xiang was leaning over to look at Xiao Jie's phone. Cheng Che's brows furrowed even more.
Does she know what distance is? Does she know him? Why is she so close to him?
Cheng Che felt inexplicably annoyed. His peripheral vision caught sight of the nearby vending machine. He bought two bottles of water and was about to walk towards Yun Xiang.
