Chapter 5: Too Caring, Cheng Che Helps Me

Yun wanted to sit on a wooden bench on the street, her face supported by her hands. She didn't want to go home, she wanted to wander the streets.

It wasn't until several puppies came running over from a distance that Yun started to panic.

Yun Xiang turned his head silently, covering his face with one hand. People who are afraid of dogs dare not even look them in the eye, for fear of attracting the dog's attention.

Several puppies stopped at Yunxiang's feet, scaring her so much that she dared not move.

Yunxiang raised her legs and kicked, trying to scare the Paw Patrol away, but the puppies were not afraid at all and instead climbed onto her legs.

Yun wanted to get up and walk quickly to the side, but the puppies chased her.

Every time his legs were rubbed by the soft dog hair, Yun Xiang shivered and his hair stood on end.

Yun Xiang was truly frightened, her face pale. Her fingertips clutched his clothes tightly, her nails turning white.

Cheng Che was shocked and said in a dull voice, "Aren't you afraid?"

Yun felt ashamed, she was really scared.

Cheng Che squatted down, then grabbed one of the puppies by the neck and stood up while holding the puppy.

The morning light filtered through the sparse branches and leaves, scattering down on the boy. He held the puppy up and looked at Yun Xiang, then after a long pause, he gave a rather cheeky smile.

What's there to be afraid of this bastard?

Yun Xiang glanced at him, her heart seemed to be hooked by something, and her eyelashes trembled slightly.

His figure was reflected on the old red wall, giving him an indescribable feeling.

Without her noticing, a blush crept up on the tips of the girl's ears.

"Hurry, take it away." Yun Xiang turned his head and spoke slowly.

Cheng Che drove the puppies away and bought some sausages for them to eat.

On the bench under the locust tree, Cheng Che was wiping his hands with a wet wipe.

"Why are you here?" Yun Xiang asked Cheng Che cautiously.
