Chapter 161 Light Rain

Qin Luo first burned all the poisoned corpses to ashes...

One by one, the trees were restored, and even more supernatural power was infused into them, making them thicker and their root systems more developed than before.

Jingming and Mufeng, one fanned her, the other wiped her sweat, and they even went to fill in the crater she had blown up.

The three of them worked hard for three days, while the two beasts had a blast for three days!

One moment they're climbing trees to pick fruit, the next they're going down the mountain to dig up medicinal herbs...

Thanks to the little white deer leading the way, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to find this place.

Wu Hua planted all the medicinal herbs in her spatial storage and gave the little white deer a bunch of fruits she had grown herself.

"Ah Fu, try some! I grew all of these. It's a pity I haven't taken human form yet, otherwise I could take you to my space. It's so beautiful there!"

The little white deer picked up a strawberry and started munching on it.

"It's so sweet! Much better than the ones from the mountains. It's alright if we can't go now; if we're destined to meet again after you've transformed into human form, you can take me to see it then!"

Upon hearing this, Wu Hua nodded her head rapidly.

"Okay! It's a deal, Afu. Have you always lived here as a deer?"

The little white deer shook its head in denial.

"No, I live here with the mother beast. She went to patrol the mountains further away, so I'm just a deer!"

"Oh, I see! Then I'll plant some fruit trees near your cave entrance! I'll plant all the kinds you like, so your beast mother can enjoy them when she returns!"

The little white deer was overjoyed upon hearing this.

"Really? Thank you so much, sir!"

''You're welcome! ''

The two beasts excitedly ran towards the cave.

Qin Luo brought all the broken trees back to life!

The seeds had all sprouted into saplings, and Mu Feng and Jingming had filled in the holes in the ground.

Tomorrow, the group will scatter the saplings throughout the mountains and forests, and then the project will be finished!

The group was so exhausted they collapsed on the ground, not wanting to move at all…

They haven't seen Wu Hua for the past few days.

If Qin Luo hadn't been able to sense its pleasant mood...

She even suspected that the two animals had been kidnapped by animal traffickers.

After lying down for a while, Qin Luo took out three boxes of self-heating rice and water bladders.

"Uncle, let's have rice for dinner! My brother eats vegetarian, but we'll have meat!"

Mu Feng smiled and replied, "Okay, whatever you say!"

Jingming was too tired to say anything, so he just nodded and stopped moving. Qin Luo picked up the water pouch and handed it to him.

"One sip and I'll have the energy! Let's keep going tomorrow and finish this so we can keep going!"

Jingming struggled to his feet and took a sip; in an instant, all his fatigue vanished.

He put his hands together in prayer.

"Buddha said to let things take their natural course, everything has its own cause and effect. Sister, I've fallen. I've come to enjoy using external things to alleviate my suffering!"

Qin Luo and Mu Feng burst into laughter upon hearing this, and after laughing for a while...

Mu Feng patted his shoulder

"Jingming, the Buddha is right. Your sister gave it to you; accepting it is simply following the natural course of things. You haven't fallen into depravity!"

Jingming scratched the little bald head suspiciously.

Is that so?

Qin Luo answered in a very serious manner

"That's how it is. The Buddha didn't teach you to force yourself to suffer. Everything is predestined. Don't we have a connection?"

Jingming answered without hesitation, "Yes!"

Qin Luo clapped his hands

"That's it! You haven't fallen; you've transcended!"

Jingming's eyes widened: "Really?"

The two nodded in unison: "Of course!"

Jingming immediately sat cross-legged, and the golden lotus on his forehead suddenly shone with light.

Qin Luo pulled Mu Feng

"Uncle, let's eat first! My brother probably won't wake up tonight!"

Mu Feng glanced at Jingming, then nodded.

"Should we go somewhere farther away to eat? He's contemplating Buddhism; wouldn't it be inappropriate for us to eat meat in front of him?"

"That makes sense!"

The two of them were holding their self-heating rice.

Run to a spot where you can see clearly in your peripheral vision and start heating.

Early the next morning

A light drizzle began to fall from the sky.

As soon as Qin Luo opened her eyes, she saw Jingming standing beside her with his eyes wide open.

She was about to ask what was wrong when she heard Jingming's stomach growling loudly as she clutched it.

"Sister, I'm hungry, rice!"

Qin Luo was amused by his appearance and handed him a thermos.

"This is millet porridge. I cooked it before bed last night. You've been hungry for so long, drink some first, then eat your main meal later, otherwise your stomach won't be able to handle it!"

Jingming smiled and accepted it: "Thank you, Sister! Look, it's raining!"

Upon hearing this, Qin Luo looked up at the sky and saw that the mountains and forests were shrouded in a thin mist, mysterious and elegant...

She watched the raindrops slowly slide down the tree trunk, listened to the soft, crisp sound of raindrops hitting the leaves, and felt the fresh scent of earth and plants filling the air.

She felt her soul had been cleansed, and her whole being felt refreshed and invigorated.

This was the first rain she had seen since she transmigrated, although it only lasted for a short while.

But she still felt that this rain was exceptionally precious!

Wu Hua planted fruit trees all over the open space in front of the Little White Deer Cave!

Every tree was laden with fruit, and the two little animals could easily pick and eat the fruit as soon as they got up early in the morning.

Seeing the raindrops on the leaves, Wu Hua stretched out her little hooves and shook them off, but the next second she was soaked.

The two little animals played happily for a while, and after they were completely soaked, Wu Hua said goodbye to the little white deer.

"Afu, I'm going to find Luoluo. We'll probably be leaving tomorrow. Grow up safely and healthily, and I look forward to the day we meet again!"

The little white deer felt a pang of sadness upon hearing this, her white eyelashes trembling slightly.
