Wu Hua looked at Qin Luo pointing at Qi Yu's back and asked, "Is he the idiot? Is he going to do something stupid again?"
"Probably not! Should we think of another explanation to smooth things over with him?"
"How can that be justified? Deliberately teaching him the wrong way is clearly meant to make him a failure or die at the hands of the supernatural!"
Qin Luo hadn't expected the sixth brother to be in such a miserable state.
"Little one, do you think he's fit to be emperor?"
Wu Hua thought for a moment and replied, "An emperor should be decisive and ruthless, shrewd and wise, which he doesn't fit at all! But he is very kind..."
Qin Luo raised her hand and rubbed its little head.
“You’re right, kindness is important, but he’s too kind. Royal struggles are incredibly dangerous; if he continues like this, he’ll die sooner or later!”
"What should we do? I haven't even eaten at their banquet yet!"
Qin Luo…
"Let's see what he thinks later! He is, after all, a member of the royal family; some things are etched in his blood!"
"Struggle and rise to power?"
"Yes! And selfishness and ruthlessness too!"
After Qin Luo finished speaking, seeing that the sun was about to set, he took out several torches and stuck them on the donkey cart.
They then took out the food they had prepared beforehand for dinner.
Qi Yu ran alone to a spot not far in the mountains, kicking trees and cutting grass, muttering to himself.
"No wonder! That monster helped me escape, no wonder my magical artifacts and silver were stolen. Does it hate me that much? Am I doomed to die?"
Twelve and Thirteen also felt sorry for him; he had lost his mother at a young age, was constantly manipulated by his older brother, and was in poor health…
The two exchanged a glance, seemingly having the same idea.
"Thirteen, don't you think that after the Sixth Prince left the palace, uh... how should I put it?"
"I'm much healthier now, no more allergies or wheezing, and I have a good appetite and sleep well!"
He pointed his twelve fingers upwards and said, "Do you think that person knows?"
Thirteen nodded: "He should know, otherwise he wouldn't be alive now!"
Twelve covered his head with both hands: "This dad is terrifying! He knew all along but just watched the show!"
"The struggle for power has always been like this! There's nothing surprising about it!"
"Too!"
They could understand it, but Qi Yu couldn't.
After venting his anger, he walked dejectedly down the mountain, returned to the donkey cart, and bowed to Qin Luo and Wu Hua.
"Thank you both for your hospitality. I'll take my leave now. If we meet again in the future, I will certainly keep my promise!"
He left as soon as he finished speaking, as if he had made up his mind. Qin Luo didn't try to stop him and just let him go.
Wu Hua was a little anxious.
"Luo Luo, he's not going to go into the city by himself, is he? Is he just going to accept his fate like this?"
Qin Luo held his little hand, signaling him to calm down.
"Don't worry, I have a plan!"
After telling Ejiao to take care of himself, the two walked over to the young Taoist priest from before.
"Master, did you come alone?"
The young Taoist priest was quite polite to Qin Luo, after all, he felt indebted to someone who had eaten his food.
"Yes! One person is enough to go down the mountain for training!"
Qin Luo didn't stand on ceremony and went straight to the point.
"Taoist priest, would you like to earn some money while you're at it?"
The young Taoist priest, without any pretense, asked directly, "How much?"
Qin Luo held up one hand and gestured: "This number!"
The young Taoist priest was somewhat dissatisfied: "Fifty taels? It's very dangerous inside!"
Qin Luo knew he hadn't misjudged the situation; this young Taoist priest, though young, was incredibly well-equipped.
This isn't because he's good at it himself, but because the temple values him!
He's either the abbot's favorite disciple or son; his skills are definitely not lacking. You can't go wrong by asking him.
"I haven't even said what I'm going to do yet, and you've already guessed it. You truly are a cultivator! But the fifty taels I mentioned are gold!"
The young Taoist priest grabbed Qin Luo's hand: "Deal! A bag of peaches as deposit!"
Qin Luo thought he wanted half the silver, but he actually wanted a bag of peaches.
"Do you want anything else? Apples, pears, oranges! They're all easy to store and don't spoil easily!"
"How many options are available?"
"Any four-part combination is fine!"
Fearing the young Taoist priest might not understand, he explained further, "It's a mix, a little bit of everything!"
The young Taoist priest grinned, revealing a set of bright white teeth, and said, "Alright, let's make a four-in-one mix!"
Qin Luo pushed Wu Hua closer to him.
"Watch over my brother for a bit, I'll go get your deposit!"
The young Taoist priest quickly nodded in agreement, and after Qin Luo left...
He looked at Wu Hua, his expression becoming serious.
"Little boy, you have such great spiritual energy! Would you be interested in joining my Tianyun Temple? We offer excellent benefits! You can eat meat every month!"
Wu Hua took a can of meat out of her bag and gave it to him.
"Please eat! Don't make a fuss!"
The young Taoist priest wasn't annoyed by being rejected; he accepted the canned meat and even thanked it.
"May the Heavenly Venerable grant you boundless blessings!"
He then asked Wu Hua to teach him how to open it, and then he began to wolf down his food, causing the people resting nearby to frequently swallow their saliva.
When Qin Luo arrived, he had almost finished eating and kept praising him.
"It's so delicious! It smells amazing!"
Qin Luo gave him a bag of fruit, two roast chickens, and some dry rations.
"You found these and shared them with my brother. He suffered a great blow at home, and I hope you can comfort him!"
The young Taoist priest took the items and assured her...
"Don't worry! I could tell from the beginning that he must have been harmed by those shady dealings in the inner quarters! His talisman-drawing technique is very smooth; he must have studied it for many years. I'll give him some pointers!"
After thanking him again, Qin Luo took Wu Hua and returned to the donkey cart.
The young Taoist priest shouldered his belongings, picked up the deposit Qin Luo had given him, and went to find his client.
Qin Luo and Wu Hua had already discussed on their way back that they should summon the Dark Dragon Guards.
We can't let them follow Qi Yu into the city without any preparation.
