He started off confidently promising to protect Qin Luo, but now he's practically scared out of his wits.
"What on earth is going on? Are we being haunted by ghosts? Otherwise, how come we've only dug this little bit after digging all morning?"
Qin Luo pretended to be even more afraid than him.
"Stop talking! You're giving me goosebumps. There shouldn't be any ghosts, right? If there really are, why don't they take revenge on those bandits instead of scaring us like this!"
Wang Yue agreed, but how could the missing gold be explained?
He scratched his head so hard he almost broke it off, but still couldn't figure it out. Qingluo kept turning her head away, chuckling to herself.
"Hey, don't be afraid. If it doesn't work out, we'll go talk to that little boss later!"
"What can I say? Are we going to say that the gold we dug up just mysteriously disappeared? Would he believe that?"
"Who cares if he believes it or not? If he doesn't believe it, let's bring him down and see for ourselves!"
Wang Yue had no objection upon hearing this and nodded obediently.
"Okay, I'll talk to him when we go up later!"
If he's willing to invite trouble, Qin Luo naturally won't stop him.
"good!"
You had barely finished discussing it when someone came to call them for dinner.
The two walked slowly towards the mine entrance. Just as they reached it, they saw Wu Hua standing not far away.
Qin Luo immediately rushed over
"Little one, what brings you here? Did they throw you here to mine because you didn't wash the vegetables well?"
Wu Hua rolled her eyes at her.
"What nonsense are you talking about? I washed the vegetables so well that they rewarded me by letting me come and see you!"
Qin Luo looked at it suspiciously.
