Chapter 50 It's All My Fault

Ji Hong spotted Qin Ling and his group in the crowd and hurriedly ran towards them.

Just as they were about to arrive, Qin Ang suddenly rushed out, grabbed them, and turned them around.

When Ji Hong looked up again, he saw Qin Ang spitting blood. Before he could react...

Then they heard Qin Jing shout from not far away: "Second brother!"

He then rushed towards the person who had attacked Qin Ang.

Qin Ling also looked over at Qin Ang and saw that someone had stabbed him from behind to his chest.

Then he went crazy and wanted to go over there.

But he was blocked by a huge crowd of disaster victims and couldn't get through.

Ji Hong held Qin Ang, his whole body trembling uncontrollably.

"Silly child, silly child! Why did you save me? I only have a few years left to live! Ahhh..."

Blood kept gushing from Qin Ang's mouth, yet he looked at Ji Hong with a smile in his eyes.

"Uncle, I can... I can go find Qingyun! I want to go find her..."

He breathed his last in Ji Hong's arms.

Ji Hong's eyes were bloodshot, and he held his corpse tightly.

Tears streamed down his deeply lined face…

"Silly child, you still can't let go after all these years!"

When Qin Jing returned after killing the thief, he found Qin Ang lying lifeless in Ji Hong's arms.

He tried to pull Qin Ang up with his only hand, but he couldn't lift him no matter what he did.

He pulled the knife from Qin Ang's body and threw it on the ground.

Ji Hong put Qin Ang on his back and carried him towards the north gate.

Ji Hong stood protectively behind the two, knife in hand…

Qin Jing muttered to himself as he walked.

"Second brother, don't be afraid. Your brother will carry you to find Doctor You and Luo Luo right now. If I had known it would turn out like this, I shouldn't have refused when Father asked me to get the medicine. It was my fault, I'm so sorry!"

His eyes were brimming with tears, his gaze empty and lost.

"You must really want to see Mother too! Mother is waiting for us up ahead, and so are Yunyuan and the others!"

Suddenly something came to mind

"Oh, right! You told Dr. You that Yunyang doesn't have a talent for carpentry, and Yunyang said he'd ignore you for a month. It hasn't even been a month yet! You haven't gotten his forgiveness, you can't just leave like this..."

Ji Hong listened to Qin Jing's rambling, standing there watching the two brothers' retreating figures.

He gripped the knife tighter and tighter, then slashed at the pursuing thief.

Ji Hong was just a peasant; how could he possibly be a match for those ruthless bandits?

He was killed by the thief in just a few moments.

Qin Xian was also gradually losing ground in his fight with the group of people.

As Qin Liang ran over, he saw the thief beside him raise his broadsword at Qin Xian.

He immediately rushed forward and shoved the thief aside, then another large knife fell.

Qin Liang had a deep, bone-revealing wound slashed into his back.

"Sixth cousin!"

Qin Xian turned around and saw that Qin Liang's back was covered in blood.

His gaze turned chilling and terrifying, and he wildly brandished the short knife in his hand.

He slaughtered all the thieves around him.

He then took out a handful of pills from his pocket and stuffed them into Qin Liang's mouth.

Sobbing, she cried, "Sixth cousin, you're such a frail scholar, why did you take a knife for me! I'm tough and thick-skinned, waaaaah~"

Qin Liang was not killed by being hacked, but almost choked to death by the pill.

Fortunately, the pill dissolved upon contact with liquid, and the mouthful of blood served to dissolve it.

The knife wound he took was so severe that you could see his spine from behind.

Fortunately, Qin Xian was generous and fed him his entire packet of medicine; otherwise, he really wouldn't have been able to endure it.

Qin Liang opened his eyes and looked at Qin Xian, who was crying like a fool.

He smiled wryly.

"Silly Xiaoqi, I'm not dead yet!"

Qin Xian carefully held him, looking at the wound on his back.

My eyes were filled with nothing but tears and heartache.

"Sixth cousin, bring out your medicine!"

Qin Liang, assuming he needed it, endured the pain in his back and took out the pills from his pocket.

"There are only eight left. The rest are with your sixth sister-in-law!"

Qin Xian took the pill and shoved it into his mouth again.

"Sixth cousin, your wound is too serious. Eat more to recover faster!"

As Qin Xian finished speaking, Qin Liang's wound no longer hurt.

He sat up and looked at Qin Xian.

"Xiao Qi, you were so badly injured last time, and you only ate one. It's such a waste to feed me eight!"

Qin Xian touched his nose

"It wasn't just eight pills; I fed you all of mine, otherwise you would have been in pain for a while longer. How could you bear this kind of pain!"

Qin Liang smiled as he looked at Qin Xian's worried expression.

"Yes, Xiaoqi is right!"

Qin Xian helped him up

"Sixth cousin, can you walk? We need to hurry to the city. Uncle and Second Uncle went there when the fighting started, and I'm afraid they won't be able to handle it!"

Qin Liang nodded to indicate that he could walk, and the two then hurried towards the city.

When Qin Luo arrived in the city, he saw Qin Xing, covered in blood, fighting with bandits.

Qin Ling was also seriously injured, fighting while protecting Qin Yi.

Qin Yi lay on the ground, his body covered in wounds.

His internal organs had spilled out, and he was already lifeless. Qin Jun had also vanished without a trace.

Seeing this, Qin Luo didn't care whether it would expose him.

Countless vines surged out from behind her

In the blink of an eye, they had wiped out all the bandits who were besieging Qinling.

Even the corpses were burned to ashes!

Qin Xing's eyes were blurred with blood, but he vaguely sensed someone coming to rescue them.

He then fainted on the ground, relieved. Qin Luo took out some water from her spatial stream and gave him a few mouthfuls.

She then walked towards the Qinling Mountains, knowing that the Qinling Mountains had seen her.

Seeing her vines, seeing her ruthless killing

Despite her inner turmoil, she maintained a composed demeanor and handed the water pouch to Qinling's mouth.

"Grandpa, drink a few sips, your injury will be healed after you finish!"
