She stepped forward and first politely greeted Ah Shui.
Then, pointing at Wu Hua, he began to scold her.
"Little one, you're not allowed to fool around anymore. Look how fat you've become. You're almost squashing your brother-in-law."
Wu Hua raised her head and glared at her fiercely.
"I'm not fat at all. My brother-in-law says it's just baby fat, I'm not heavy at all."
"They were just being polite, why are you taking it so seriously?"
"How do you know it's just politeness? Maybe it's the truth!"
Seeing the two were on the verge of conflict, Ah Shui immediately stepped in to smooth things over.
"Alright, alright, stop arguing."
After the two of them shut up, he looked at Qin Luo.
"Sister, don't blame your son. I wanted to carry him myself. He just told me that he's never seen his parents since he was little..."
Qin Luo had forgotten this point; although she spent every day with Wu Hua...
But when it comes to parents, I truly can't fill that gap myself.
"Then I'll have to trouble you, brother-in-law. I thought you were just indulging him because he was being difficult, but I didn't expect it to be like this. I was wrong."
"It's alright. Misunderstandings between sisters are nothing to worry about. They'll be fine once we talk it out."
As he spoke, he turned to ask Wu Hua.
"Isn't that right, little one?"
Wu Hua nodded reluctantly.
“Brother-in-law is right.”
Qin Luo also apologized to Wu Hua and explained the reason.
Knowing that she said that because she was jealous, Wu Hua didn't blame her at all.
She even had Ah Shui put her down, and then, hand in hand with Qin Luo, they went to happily discuss the craftsmen's affairs.
Ah Shui watched the two who were arguing one second and making up the next, her eyes full of smiles.
When Qin Luo and Wu Hua returned to their room, the first thing he said shocked Wu Hua.
"You might not believe it, but I think I've run into Xia Beinian's clansmen."
