She had only thought about adventuring with them, but she had never considered the specifics of how to do so.
Qin Luo's heart skipped a beat when she heard her question. She couldn't very well say that she wanted to trick her into going out to deal with him, so she could only smile and make up an excuse.
"It is said that there are many rare treasures in that forest, which attracts a large number of bounty hunters. Since we are going out to gain experience, we should also go and broaden our horizons."
Upon hearing that it was a treasure hunt game, Ming Zhao clapped his hands with joy.
"Sister is right, we should go and take a good look. When the time comes, just tell me what you like, and I'll help you get it."
Seeing that she was always thinking of him, Qin Luo almost wanted to turn the flying boat around.
Wu Hua noticed her unusual behavior and thought that if she tested Ming Zhao with a few words, Ming Zhao wouldn't get angry.
So, he trotted over to Ming Zhao on his short legs, leaned against her lap, and looked like a clingy little devil.
"Sister Zhao'er, do you think it's worth it if one person's armor can be exchanged for tens of thousands of lives?"
After he asked the question, Ming Zhao replied without thinking, "It's such a great deal, why did you suddenly ask such a silly question?"
Martial Arts Flower…
He wasn't angry when called stupid, but instead continued to ask questions.
"If this armor were yours, would you be willing to use it to save someone else's life?"
Upon hearing this, Ming Zhao was taken aback. She felt that, besides Ming Yi, only Qin Luo was worthy of her devotion.
As for the others, they never even considered it.
"Who are the others? Do I know them?"
Seeing that she didn't answer directly but instead raised a question, Wu Hua knew that she was probably unwilling, so she could only make up an excuse.
"It's just an example, no need to take it so seriously, hahaha..."
Upon hearing this, Ming Zhao couldn't quite put his finger on what was wrong, but he began to make a decision.
"Hehe, is that so!"
The conversation should have ended there, but Qin Luo, standing to the side, was eager to know the answer.
"Zhao'er, it's just a piece of armor. How can it compare to life, let alone tens of thousands of lives? Don't you think so?"
Ming Zhao looked at her with a slightly strange expression.
"That makes sense, but what do those people have to do with me? I'm not Buddha, why should I use my own things to save them?"
After she finished speaking, Qin Luo was almost convinced; she wasn't exactly a philanthropist to begin with.
But now she's facing a vengeful spirit; even if she's making it up, she'll have to come up with a reason to refute it.
"You're right, but..."
Unfortunately, she couldn't come up with a story; she spent a long time trying, but couldn't come up with anything convincing.
Ming Zhao just kept staring at her, waiting to see what kind of nonsense she would come up with.
Seeing this, Wu Hua had no choice but to step forward to help.
“Sister Zhao’er, we’re not forcing you to make a choice. We just want to tell you our thoughts. If it were Luo Luo and me, we would definitely give up our armor to save those innocent people.”
Upon hearing this, Ming Zhao frowned, as if he couldn't understand.
"Why? Are they important to you?"
"No, it's just that we think it and then do it. For us, nothing is more important than life, even someone else's life."
After he finished speaking, Ming Zhao fell into deep thought, while Qin Luo quietly gave him a thumbs up.
The three flew for seven days straight, finally arriving at the location marked on the map: the Cloud and Mist Forest.
Qin Luo pointed to the area below the flying boat, shrouded in mist, and asked Wu Hua.
"Is this the place? The fog is too thick to see anything."
Wu Hua walked to her side and also looked down.
"Yes, this is the Cloud Forest. They say that if you go in for about a day after seeing the fog, you'll reach the heart of the forest, where the legendary man-eating swamp is located."
Upon hearing this, Qin Luo glanced at the sleeping Ming Zhao before returning to Wu Hua.
"Let's stop at the edge."
Wu Hua knew what she was thinking; she wanted to spend more time with Ming Zhao.
After all, this time, it's not just about breaking the contract with the sea creatures, but also about capturing Ming Zhao for purification.
This departure means it's uncertain when they'll meet again. With Qin Luo's mortal lifespan, he probably won't have the chance in this lifetime.
"Alright, we made an agreement with Tiandao beforehand that we would have two days to persuade her, so let's take her sightseeing properly."
After the two discussed it, Qin Luo stopped the flying boat and woke up Ming Zhao.
Ming Zhao looked at the unfamiliar scene before him, still feeling somewhat out of place.
"Is this our destination? Something seems off."
The moment she uttered the word "weird," Qin Luo and Wu Hua instantly felt that the forest before them was even more terrifying.
Under the pretense of being worried about getting separated, the two men each held one of her hands, practically pressing their bodies against hers.
Seeing how dependent they were on him, Ming Zhao felt a little smug, completely forgetting how he had initially approached them.
She adopted an attitude of "I'm the best in the world" and looked at the two of them.
"Sister, brother, you don't need to be afraid, I'm here."
Qin Luo and Wu Hua felt a warmth in their hearts upon hearing this, and they held hands even tighter.
As they ventured deeper into the forest, the light around them gradually dimmed.
The light and shadows filtering through the trees illuminated the path worn into the ground ahead.
The air was thick with mist, carrying a chilling, eerie atmosphere.
Although they were apprehensive, seeing Ming Zhao's firm steps and fearless eyes, they mustered their courage and walked with her.
"Luo Luo, do the swamps in this Cloud Mist Forest really eat people?"
Wu Hua's voice trembled slightly as she tried to dispel her inner fear by talking to her.
Qin Luo didn't mock him for being such a majestic mythical beast, frightened by a mere forest.
After all, she was just a cub, so it was understandable that she was afraid. She first let go of Ming Zhao's hand, then walked to Wu Hua's side and picked her up.
