She thought this in her heart, but on the surface she appeared to be very empathetic towards them.

Upon hearing Xiaobai's words, Qin Luo knew that the two ghosts were probably about to be promoted.
"That's good. My son and I wish you both great success in your careers and continuous advancement."
"Haha, then I'll take your good wishes."
After exchanging congratulations, the two ghosts took their leave and returned to the underworld.
Qin Luo and Wu Hua then flashed back into their spatial dimension. Both were preoccupied with their own thoughts, and their enthusiasm for Mao Mao cooled considerably.
After exchanging a few casual words, I put Tengteng down and went back to my bedroom, citing exhaustion as the reason.
Mao Mao assumed the two were genuinely tired, so he kept pestering Tengteng to ask...
