As the saying goes, an outsider's perspective is often clearer; after listening, Qin Luo and Ming Zhao connected the dots in the story.
"No wonder the little one said he died once and was saved by his clan chief. It turns out that my fate with him began thousands of years ago."
"Yes, when my younger brother was stranded in the human world, he must not have received the inheritance yet, otherwise he would not have let his older sister starve to death."
"That's for sure. After I died, my son searched for who knows how long before he was able to find his father."
"Hmm... if you calculate the time, it should be several hundred years. But those two are so foolish. They didn't even realize they were talking face-to-face that the other person they were looking for was the same person. If they had known back then..."
Before Ming Zhao could finish speaking, Qin Luo interrupted him.
"Zhao'er, let's not romanticize the path we haven't taken yet; it might be even more difficult."
Upon hearing this, Ming Zhao seemed to suddenly understand.
“Yes, now only Father has made a mistake. If the two of them had been together, he might not be the only one about to be arrested.”
The two of them talked back and forth, making Ming Yi's head buzz. He felt like a complete idiot.
If this matter hadn't been brought up again, he probably wouldn't have figured out the connection between Shi Lisheng, Ming Youyi, and the auspicious beast cub.
Seeing that he was in a daze, Qin Luo raised her hand and waved it in front of his face.
"Father, what are you thinking about? Could it be that you didn't know the key to this before?"
Upon hearing this, Ming Zhao looked utterly incredulous.
"How could that be? Father isn't a complete idiot. Even if he didn't know back then, he would have figured it out soon enough. How could he still not know after thousands of years?"
Ming Yi's face turned pale and then red, and the two of them immediately understood.
After that, no one dared to say anything more, only secretly glancing at him.
Fortunately, Ming Yi soon figured it out: so be it, he's a big idiot.
Since he didn't have much time left, he voiced his doubts.
"Luo'er, did your little one not find you before? Did you only find you in recent years?"
After he asked the question, Qin Luo immediately shook his head.
"It shouldn't be. When I was ambushed by Ti Yuan before, Zai Zai saved me and said that in a daze, he saw fragments of his past life. He should have found me at that time."
"Oh, how long exactly?"
"He doesn't know either, but something terrible must have happened that caused his death and loss of all his original memories."
"And then what?"
"Afterwards, he was found by Chief Kang and reproduced again using the clan's sacred artifact. Later, before the Beast Realm disappeared, the Lord of the Beast Realm sent him to the Human Realm, but by some twist of fate, he met me again."
Ming Yi never expected that Wu Hua would die for Qin Luo, and he never expected that the bond between the two was so deep.
But he had previously thought of killing him, and now his heart was filled with guilt.
"Luo'er, Zai Zai is a good beast, you must never let him down in the future."
"That's inevitable. I've always considered him a brother and would never do anything to upset him."
"That's good, that's good..."
Before they knew it, the three of them had been talking from dusk till dawn, and the final decision was as Ming Yi had said.
He traveled with the Underworld to face final judgment and to search for the divine artifacts.
Qin Luo went to do what she wanted, but she also promised Ming Yi that she would never take the opportunity to sneak into the underworld and get involved in their affairs.
Once the resentment in Ming Zhao's body is completely cleared, they can meet her outside.
Qin Luo agreed, but made one request: that he not refuse any opportunity for a reduced sentence.
To put her mind at ease, Ming Yi naturally agreed.
Seeing that it was already bright outside the window, he urged her to hurry back to her space to rest.
Qin Luo didn't refuse; she hadn't slept for several days and was indeed quite tired.
After bidding farewell to the two, she vanished into her spatial dimension. Only after she left did Ming Yi feign anger and look at Ming Zhao.
"Did Zhao'er just mock her father, calling him a big fool?"
Upon hearing this, Ming Zhao waved his hands rapidly.
"No, no, Father, I feel dizzy and need to go to sleep for a while. Please make yourself at home!"
After saying that, she ran towards her room, leaving Mingyi watching her retreating figure with a soft chuckle: "Silly child..."
After returning to his spatial dimension, Qin Luo immediately rushed to the bedroom, where he lay down by the bed and quietly watched Wu Hua, who was sleeping soundly.
This left Mao Mao and Tengteng, who were preparing to welcome her, completely bewildered.
Seeing her anxious and flustered appearance, I thought something had happened.
They all followed her, running until they reached the bedroom door. Seeing her grinning foolishly at Wu Hua, they realized they had misunderstood.
Qin Luo caught a glimpse of the two of them out of the corner of her eye, then waved them in.
The two plants, seeing her call them, walked in dumbfounded.
Then, the bedside changed from one person to two people and a calamus.
When Wu Hua woke up, she saw them all lined up neatly, lying by her bedside, looking at her.
Anyone who didn't know better would think he had some serious illness.
"W-What's wrong?"
He had barely uttered the words when Qin Luo pulled him into her arms.
"My little one, thank you, thank you for treating me the same way for thousands of years."
After she finished speaking, not only Wu Hua, but even the two plants were dumbfounded by her words.
"Luo Luo, what do you mean by that?"
"Yes, could it be that you two knew each other thousands of years ago?"
"Wow, the eldest and second eldest brothers have a connection spanning thousands of years, it's truly enviable."
After they finished speaking, Qin Luo smiled and recounted the past that Ming Yi had mentioned to them.
The two of them and Xiangpu were utterly incredulous, especially Wu Hua, whose disbelief was tinged with a hint of sorrow.
