The nine heads grew happier and happier as they thought about it, and they no longer felt tired.
Taking advantage of the few seconds when the Wind Fox Staff's control was off, he swooped down towards the pineapple.
Just as the sharp claws were about to tear through the pineapple's skin, the sprout suddenly swept the branch across.
The ghost car was swept far away in one go.
"Little Pineapple, are you alright?"
When the pineapple saw the sprout, tears immediately streamed down its face.
"Sister, run! It's going to burn you to death! Run!"
Before it finished speaking, the ghost car was already almost upon it.
The sprout immediately wrapped itself around the pineapple tree, then frantically pulled it up by the roots and ran away.
"Pineapple, don't be afraid. Your uncle and aunt are definitely on their way to rescue us."
The pineapple clung tightly to its branch.
"Sister, I'm not afraid. You keep running, I'll control it with the Wind Fox Staff."
"good!"
Then a strange scene unfolded in the mountains: a giant Bodhi tree was seen swinging its roots and running wildly.
A creature resembling a rabbit was perched on top, waving its little stick every three seconds.
Behind them followed this nine-headed monster bird, dripping blood and cursing angrily.
It would also freeze for a few seconds every now and then, much like a choppy signal due to a lack of signal reception.
But a seedling is, after all, a plant; no matter how fast it runs on land...
They weren't as fast as those flying in the sky, and soon they were intercepted by the ghost car.
It began to breathe fire at the seedlings, showing no mercy whatsoever.
The crimson flames spewed from the nine heads of the ghost carriage scorched half of the sapling's crown.
The seedling screamed in agony, a heart-wrenching sound.
The pineapple, hearing this, wept uncontrollably, huddled among the charred branches.
Just as the little paw was about to swing the Wind Fox Staff, it was grabbed by the neck by an energy.
Another burst of energy sent the Wind Fox Staff flying from its hand.
The ghost's eighteen eyes were fixed on the pineapple.
"Little thing, let's see where you can run now."
"Hahaha, I've finally caught you! Get ready to be skinned alive!"
"Yes, they also have to dig open the head and suck out the brain marrow..."
"Where did you take the stick? You promised it would be mine."
"Here you go, take it. Let's go find it after we finish cleaning it up."
"This tree is a valuable thing, don't let it be burned. We'll keep it in our space from now on."
"Alright, then don't kill Little Kang. Wait until it grows big fangs before killing it."
"Stop with the nonsense, let's kill this little thing first."
"Go ahead and do it, but remember to shield it from the wind..."
Just as the ghost was about to attack the pineapple, the sprout mustered all its energy to try and push the ghost away again.
But it trapped them, burning away half of the tree crown again.
"Little sapling, if you don't behave, I won't just burn the crown."
The seedlings had already fainted and were no longer able to resist.
Just as the ghost car tightened the energy around the pineapple's neck, a scolding, childlike voice was heard.
"Let it go, you little brat!"
Wu Hua transformed into her true form, her wings overturning three zhang of frozen earth.
Its body, possessing superhuman defensive capabilities, crashed through the nearby cliff face.
The entire snow-capped mountain trembled beneath its four hooves, and the three sides of the ghost chariot suddenly turned.
Its golden eyes reflected the thorns that broke through the snow, the vines entwined with icy barbs already embedded in its wing bones.
A gray-brown figure suddenly cut through the swirling snow.
Qin Luo tapped one of the ghost car's heads with his toe and swiftly threw the bomb in his hand into its mouth.
At that moment, Tengteng swiftly swept her and Pineapple away.
Wu Hua then stored the seedlings into her spatial storage; all the actions were completed in an instant.
Before the ghost car could react, one of its heads was blown off.
Its remaining heads all emitted shrill screams, and shattered flesh sprayed outwards in all directions.
Tengteng tossed Qin Luo and Pineapple onto Wu Hua's back.
Then the vines suddenly grew wildly, enveloping the madly roaring ghost chariot as it crashed into the abyss.
Qin Luo and Wu Hua were very worried upon seeing this, so they put the pineapple into their spatial storage.
They gave chase, and Tengteng tightened the wings of the ghost car.
No matter how much fire it was scorched or how much it was pulled, it was all in vain.
Wu Hua shrunk her size and carried Qin Luo, who was wielding an energy-infused sword.
It slashed down from its outstretched right wing and all the way to its left belly.
Blood, accompanied by screams, dripped into the abyss below, and the ghost carriage erupted once more.
Ignoring the wings, they turned their remaining eight heads toward Qin Luo and Wu Hua.
If Wu Hua hadn't dodged quickly, Qin Luo's hair would have been burned off.
Seeing that the two had dodged it, Guiche was instantly enraged.
It seemed to be in a suicidal stance, first violently tearing off its own wings.
Despite the blood splattering everywhere, it used its sharp claws to tear the vines off.
The vine's originally incredibly resilient body became fragile and unremarkable in its hands.
Qin Luo saw that the vines had broken into several pieces and shouted towards the direction of the ghost car, "No!"
He then coughed up a mouthful of blood and nearly fainted.
The vines are her signature weapon; if one is injured, the other will certainly suffer as well.
But at this moment, Qin Luo's heartache far outweighed her physical pain.
For her, the vines were no longer just a weapon.
They are her family, her younger sister, her closest relatives.
Wu Hua was also heartbroken; to her, Tengteng was second only to Qin Luo.
She is not only the elder sister, but also the mother vine that has carefully nurtured it as it grew up.
The two men, as if they had lost their minds, frantically brandished various firearms.
They charged towards the ghost car, and after a fierce battle...
Golden blood seeped from Wu Hua's chest, and Qin Luo's bones were broken throughout his body.
From the broken tendrils of the vine, dripping venomous liquid from the ghost car...
The ghost carriage was reduced to its last remaining head, its panting sound like that of a horse-drawn carriage moving.
