Inside the Jinjiang Hotel, warm yellow lights softly illuminate the dining tables, and the air is filled with the aroma of delicious food.
While savoring the two different flavors of fermented black bean fish, Su Mingchao would occasionally glance at the door, his expression showing a hint of anxiety, muttering to himself, "Big brother, why hasn't that kid Xiao Yu you mentioned arrived yet?"
It's already 9:20! I'm so anxious!
"What's the rush? We should be there soon!"
Xiao Yu said she would come, and she definitely will.
"Your older brother has an excellent eye for people; he's absolutely right."
Su Minghua had complete faith in Cheng Yuan's character and said with absolute certainty.
"Brother, that's not what I meant. I just wanted to get this settled as soon as possible so I could feel more at ease."
Su Mingchao hurriedly explained, but he couldn't stop talking.
"Little brother, look, they're here." Su Minghua, with sharp eyes, pointed towards the door.
Su Mingchao looked in the direction his elder brother was pointing and exclaimed in surprise, "Such a young man!"
I thought to myself that someone so young could make such delicious black bean fish, he really had some skill.
The two brothers quickly got up and personally welcomed Yu Chengyuan and his brother in with smiles on their faces.
"Chengyuan, Ping'an, let me introduce you. This is my younger brother, Su Mingchao. He lives in Macheng, a city where everyone loves spicy food."
Su Minghua introduced the products enthusiastically.
Out of politeness, the Yu brothers greeted each other in unison, "Boss Su."
Since they're all bosses anyway, it's easier to address them all the same way; otherwise, they really wouldn't know what to call them.
"Brother Chengyuan, Brother Ping'an, please have a seat."
"You don't need to be so polite. Just call me Brother Su, or Brother Chao."
Su Mingchao wore a smile and showed no airs whatsoever.
"Alright then, we won't stand on ceremony, Brother Chao."
You can call me Acheng, or Brother Ping'an.
Yu Chengyuan, a guest, followed the host's lead and responded with a smile.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, the group quickly got down to business.
"Ah Cheng, I just tasted the two cans of black bean fish with different flavors that you brought to my older brother."
This tastes amazing, I love it.
These fish pieces have absolutely no fishy taste, and they're spicy, sweet, and have a bean flavor. What's even more amazing is the subtle aroma of wine. They're absolutely divine!
This mildly spicy one is also good; children and women would probably like it more.
However, it would be even better if more flavors could be added.
Two flavors? That seems a bit too few.
Su Mingchao first praised the black bean fish extensively, and then subtly offered his small suggestion.
Yu Chengyuan listened and nodded thoughtfully, saying, "Brother Chao is right, I've had this idea for a long time."
If this collaboration goes through, there will definitely be more than just these flavors.
I plan to make several flavors: mild, spicy, extra spicy, and numbing spicy.
He had been planning these things in his mind for a long time.
According to his understanding, people in Macheng prefer spicy and numbing flavors.
"These flavors are simply perfect."
Now I have one more question for you.
How long can this fermented black bean fish be kept? Does it spoil easily?
This was also something Su Mingchao was very concerned about, because it would be a real shame if they couldn't sell them all and they went bad.
"Don't worry about this, Brother Chao. This stuff won't spoil for three months at room temperature, and if you have a refrigerator, it can last for a year without any problems."
Yu Chengyuan explained with a smile.
Thinking to myself, this fish has been marinated, dried, sprayed with alcohol, and even had wine lees added. Most importantly, it's been deep-fried. How could it possibly spoil so easily?
That would be wonderful!
"What are we waiting for? Let's sign the contract!"
Upon hearing this, Su Mingchao felt a huge weight lifted from his heart.
"Okay, but Brother Chao, we need to discuss the price before signing the contract."
Yu Chengyuan said with a smile, after all, this was the thing he cared about most.
"Cheng, what price range are you looking for? Tell me first, and I'll see if it's suitable."
Su Mingchao glanced at the glass jars on the table, thinking that these jars must have been expensive to buy, probably costing a dollar each.
"It should cost at least six yuan a can!"
Moreover, if you request multiple flavors, it becomes more complicated to prepare, and the cost is not low.
And this is 500 grams, a real, substantial amount!
Yu Chengyuan said with a smile, his face full of sincerity.
"Six yuan isn't expensive. Here's what I'll do: I'll give you six yuan and fifty cents. Can you put a label with a picture on the jar for me? That will make it look nicer."
This bare ground is really unsightly. We need to consider aesthetics, after all, humans are visual creatures.
And this contract, one year is too short, how about a two-year contract?
Su Mingchao believed that only visually appealing products could arouse customers' desire to buy.
Upon hearing this, Yu Chengyuan nodded without hesitation: "Sure, no problem."
I was thinking that I would just draw a beautiful picture and ask the printing factory to print more labels to stick on.
Anyway, the tags are very cheap. If Brother Chao calculates that they are 50 cents each, it is an exorbitant price. He could buy a lot of tags for 50 cents.
The two chatted back and forth, and after a pleasant conversation, they finally reached an agreement and successfully signed a two-year contract.
The delivery schedule has been set: one hundred cans will be delivered every three days.
The flavor distribution was also determined: twenty cans of mildly spicy, thirty cans of fragrant spicy, twenty cans of extra spicy, and thirty cans of numbing spicy.
The contract had just been signed when Su Minghua, who hadn't said much until now, spoke up: "Acheng, I'd also like to try this fermented black bean fish."
