Yu Dazhu happened to finish work and went into the kitchen to take a look.
He usually asks the villagers to stop working half an hour before meals so they can rest for half an hour before eating.
He washed his hands and came in to see what was being cooked today, but he was surprised to smell the enticing aroma as soon as he entered.
"Of course, it was brought back by the eldest and second eldest brothers. They said they wanted to add some dishes for the villagers, since everyone works very hard."
"Oh, by the way, they're processing those bighead carp in the backyard. Why don't you go help them out? I'll just make a couple more dishes here, and we'll be all done."
Pan Cuiping was worried that the two brothers would be so busy that they wouldn't even have time to eat.
"Okay!" Yu Dazhu nodded in response and turned to walk towards the backyard.

Yu Dazhu and his wife quickly told everyone that it was the eldest and second eldest son's idea. They said that the villagers worked hard and that eating well would give them more energy to work.
Everyone laughed heartily upon hearing this.
After finishing their meal, the villagers didn't rest for long; they only rested for half an hour before starting work again.
