Yu Chengyuan took a hot shower and then went back to his room.
He saw that his wife and daughter were both asleep.
He tiptoed to the bedside, took off his trousers and shirt, got into bed, sat next to his daughter, and waited for his hair to dry a little before lying down.
Because he had just washed his hair, it wasn't completely dry yet, so he simply rubbed it with a towel to remove the moisture.
"Oh, there's no hair dryer. If there were, he could dry his hair quickly."
Yu Chengyuan muttered something to himself.
Barbershops and shopping malls should sell them; I'll buy one another day for convenience.
It doesn't matter since they're all men; they'll get buzz cuts soon anyway.
However, my wife, mother, and older sister all have long hair, so their hair doesn't dry easily after washing.
Most of them wash their hair around noon so it dries faster. Because of the sunshine!
"Cheng Yuan, what are you saying?"
His daughter-in-law Liu Sulan's voice brought Yu Chengyuan back to his senses.
"Honey, did I wake you up?"
Yu Chengyuan thought to himself that his voice was still too loud, even though he had been very careful.
"No, I was woken up by the urge to pee."
"I drank a bit too much chicken soup tonight," Liu Sulan said softly, blushing.
"Oh, I see. Let me help you to pee!" Yu Chengyuan immediately got out of bed and ran to the other side of the bed.
"No need, I can manage on my own," Liu Sulan waved her hand.
The chamber pot is inside the house, so there's no need to go to the outhouse.
She can go by herself; she's been able to get out of bed and walk around for a long time.
"It's okay, I'll carry you there, honey. We've been married for so long, there's no need to be shy."
They're an old married couple!
They've been husband and wife for two lifetimes!
Although the chamber pot is carried inside the house at night for convenience when getting up at night, it is taken out and placed in the outhouse in the morning.
In rural areas, even manure and excrement are treasures, including cow dung, which is a natural organic fertilizer and should not be wasted.
Just as Liu Sulan was about to put on her shoes, Yu Chengyuan picked her up around the waist and carried her to the urinal in the corner before gently setting her down on the ground.
"Honey, we're here. Now you can relieve yourself! Oh, and do you want me to help you take your pants off?"
Yu Chengyuan said frankly.
Liu Sulan refused without hesitation, "No need. That..."
Chengyuan, turn your back.
It's not like she can't take it off herself...

Yu Chengyuan said with a grin, but still obediently turned his back.
A voice came from behind her, and Liu Sulan blushed and immediately shouted, "You... cover your ears."
Yu Chengyuan said with a smile, "Okay, I'll cover my ears."
Then he couldn't help but laugh out loud.
A moment later, I heard my wife say, "I'm all better, carry me back to bed!"
Liu Sulan's face turned as red as an apple, and she buried her face in the man's chest.
She had just heard him laugh.
"Honey, would you like me to get some hot water for you to wash up?"
After putting his wife on the bed, Yu Chengyuan asked.
"Okay, then help me... get a pair of... underwear from the closet so I can change into it."
Liu Sulan nodded, then added a sentence after thinking for a moment.
Yu Chengyuan took out his wife's underwear from the closet and handed it to her, saying, "Wife, change first, I'll go get you some hot water."
After saying that, he went to the kitchen to fetch hot water. There was still hot water in the pot at the back of the kitchen. Then he poured some warm water from the thermos and added a little salt to the water.
After stirring it, he carried the water into the house and helped his wife get out of bed to wash.
His mother-in-law taught him all of this.
After his wife got back into bed, he glanced at the underwear in the basin under the shelf, and then got up again.
"Chengyuan, why aren't you sleeping? What are you doing here again?"
Liu Sulan asked curiously.
"Honey, you go to sleep first. I'll wash that and then I'll go to sleep."
Yu Chengyuan walked over, picked up the basin, and went outside.
Liu Sulan quickly called out, "Chengyuan, no, don't wash that."
That thing is dirty...
Mom will help me wash tomorrow.
What man would wash his wife's underwear?
It's usually the mother-in-law who takes care of the new mother or the new mother who comes to help with the newborn who washes the clothes.
Men generally don't touch this, even men who love their wives very much.
Unless there are no in-laws, there's nothing a man can do.
Otherwise, the wife would wash the clothes with hot water at noon and hang them out to dry.
"No need, I can wash it myself, it'll be quick. What's so dirty about it? How can it be dirtier than the clothes we wear every day after sweating profusely?"
I happen to have some free time now, so I'll take a shower!
Yu Chengyuan waved his hand, he didn't care about any of that.
"Chengyuan, you're in business, you shouldn't be washing things, put it down quickly."

Liu Sulan panicked and blurted out.
She heard from the village women that men shouldn't wash women's underwear, or the men will suffer bad luck.
Especially if the family runs a business, they absolutely cannot wash it.
Also, women should never let men wash their underwear when they are menstruating.
In some places, women in postpartum confinement are not allowed to go to other people's homes, otherwise it will bring bad luck. Of course, it doesn't matter if they are with their own family.
"Wife, nothing of the sort, how could it be unlucky?"
