Several days passed, and the crayfish purchasing work was still in full swing.
The Yu brothers, their parents, their elder sister, and the Zhou family father and son were all helping out.

Yu Chengyuan did not stop his father from going, knowing that his father was afraid that if something happened to Wang Shi, it might be the last time he would see her.
He thought his mother must understand his father, so she didn't stop him.
Yu Pingan originally wanted to stop his father, but his second brother stopped him with a look.
"Big brother, keep an eye on this side. I'll go over there for a bit. I'm worried Dad might get hurt."
Yu Chengyuan hesitated for a moment, but still decided to go and take a look.
He always felt that Wang wouldn't have called the village chief over for no reason.

He went closer and saw that inside the house, Yu Erzhu and his wife were standing to one side with sad and anxious expressions.
The father's face showed undisguised sadness.
The village chief's face was also extremely grave.
Old Mrs. Wang was lying in bed, and her complexion did indeed look like she was sick; it didn't seem like she was faking it.
Her face was pale and haggard, her eyes were sunken, and she had grown a lot of white hair.
