Chapter 237 Jiang Yihuan

"Sister Lin Xi's leg injury hasn't healed yet. Can I help you go to the hall to apply medicine?" She deliberately raised her voice and saw Jiang Yihan clenching the horsewhip.

Xu came forward with three cousins. Jiang Qingzhi was about to speak when she saw Jiang Yihan dismount from his horse, his black cloak sweeping a sharp arc across the bluestone slabs.

"Mother is fine." He saluted without looking away, but out of the corner of his eye he saw Jiang Songyi supporting Bai Linxi as they walked towards the mansion without even glancing at him.

Bai Linxi jumped on Jiang Songyi's arm, and suddenly exclaimed, "Why is Brother Yihuan still standing? Your sister is here!" Then he pushed Jiang Songyi forward.

Jiang Songyi stumbled half a step, her waist making a crisp sound. She looked up and met Jiang Yihuan's tightly pursed lips. Suddenly, she heard a cold snort: "Jiang Yihuan, this scumbag, can he compare with me?"

"Who's talking?" Jiang Yihuan turned his head suddenly, his sword clanging against his armor. Everyone looked at each other, but only Mrs. Xu clutched her handkerchief tightly—her youngest daughter's inner voice was leaking out again!

"Third brother, are you tired?" Jiang Qingzhi tried to smooth things over. "The kitchen has prepared golden thread date cakes."

"No need." Jiang Yihuan brushed his cousin's hand away, his gaze fixed on Jiang Songyi like a hook. The little girl was rubbing Bai Linxi's knees, the butterfly hairpin trembling in her hair. How could she possibly be speaking?

Xue Xin got out of the carriage, her colorful skirt in hand, her clothes clattering with silver bells. She tilted her head to look at Jiang Songyi, and suddenly asked in stiff official language, "Are you the sister who asked him to rush to make the medicine for the wound overnight?"

Jiang Yihuan's ears suddenly turned red, and he shouted sternly: "Miss Xue!"

“You braved the heavy rain that night.”

"Shut up!"

Jiang Songyi paused while rubbing Bai Linxi's knee. In her previous life, she had cut her arm while saving Jiang Yuyao, and it was indeed her third brother who braved the rain to bring her the Western Regions elixir. It turned out that this medicine...

"Third Young Master!" The doorman suddenly rushed over. "The old lady is coughing up blood!"

Everyone was startled. Jiang Yihuan was about to rush to Shou'an Hall when he felt his sleeve tighten. Jiang Songyi tugged at his sleeve, her fingertips still stained with ointment. "Grandmother hates the smell of blood. Third brother, change your clothes before you go."

The warmth of the girl's palm could be felt through the fabric, and Jiang Yihuan vaguely heard that voice again: [Why would that jerk change his clothes? Just rush in and piss off this old woman to death!]

He suddenly shook his hand away and took two steps back, staring at Jiang Songyi as if he had seen a ghost. The little girl blinked innocently, her lips clearly pressed tightly together.
