Chen Xian frowned.
This is already the most remote spot; if we move any further to the side, we'll basically be moving into the bushes.
The most important thing is the choice of geographical location.
Chen Xian said calmly, "Brother, as you just said, it's first come, first served. I arrived first today, and your name isn't written here. Besides, my stall is already set up, so it's not appropriate for you to ask me to move it."
The big man grinned.
"Brother, you're really something else."
Upon seeing the other person, he found him dressed in coarse cloth clothes with patches on his body.
Both women looked tired.
It's obvious that they came all the way from outside the village.
In other words, the other party has the same identity as oneself.
The burly man gave a cold smile.
As he spoke, he strode over.
Erzhuzi was somewhat worried.
Chen Xian said calmly, "Brother, we are all farmers. We are here today to do business properly. I always like to reason with people, but if someone doesn't want to reason with me, I can only call for reinforcements."
Then, without changing his expression, he calmly said, "You know the Rainforest Bookstore in town, right? The Rainforest Bookstore is the mastermind behind the liangpi (cold skin noodles) business. I advise you to stay calm in the face of trouble."
The burly man was still angry.
Hearing this, I felt a little confused.
The man next to him was actually quite intelligent.
He whispered, "Brother, don't be impulsive. I've heard that this Rainforest Bookstore sells storybooks to scholars in town, so it must have some connections with the government. It's not something we ordinary folks can afford to offend."
The burly man sneered, "How could a bookseller, who handles transactions of a few taels or even tens of taels every day, possibly be interested in a small business like cold noodles? Do you believe that?"
The man said urgently, "Brother, I've told you so many times, I don't know if the old guy over there is telling the truth or not, but are you willing to bet? What if they really do have a connection?"
"Besides, we're not in the right either, since they were here first."
The big man turned and left.
Just then, a joyful voice came from not far away.
"Is it Chen's Liangpi? The Chen family that used to sell food at the market?"
Chen Xian was somewhat surprised, but he did see a very familiar face.
An old man selling sesame seed cakes.
The old man wore a white apron tied around his waist, full of wrinkles, and had a kind smile on his face.
"What have you been busy with lately? The worst thing about setting up a stall is to work one day and rest for three days. Otherwise, you might lose your good customer base. I've been running a stall for decades and I've learned one thing: as long as you work hard from dawn till dusk, you'll still have one or two repeat customers."
Chen Xian greeted him with a smile.
The big man was somewhat puzzled.
"Uncle Thirteen, do you know this man who sells cold noodles?"
The old man selling sesame cakes chuckled and said, "Hey chicken, why are you still so hot-tempered? Let's be honest, these days business is all about first come, first served. Are you just taking advantage of people because they're not friendly?"
The man actually felt somewhat aggrieved.
An awkward smile.
"Uncle Thirteen, please don't make fun of me. Do I look like I've gotten the better deal? You should have said so earlier. You knew him. He's one of our own."
The old man chuckled and said, "This guy who sells cold noodles is a nice person. When I was setting up my stall on the street, I was very close to him, and he even gave me a bowl of cold noodles for free."
The big man chuckled sheepishly: "Brother, I'm sorry. Since you know Uncle Thirteen, let's become friends through this fight."
"If you encounter any problems while setting up your stall in the future, just come to me. I may not have any other skills, but I do have a lot of strength."
