The closest gaze, however, was somewhat different. It was a pair of large, pure, dark eyes, with a tear welling up around the pupils, which were like black grapes, yet stubbornly refused to let it fall.
Upon closer inspection, Luo Xi realized that the owner of those tearful eyes was a little boy of about three years old.
"Fairy Sister!" he murmured softly.
His eyes, as if washed clean, were filled with surprise and admiration.
"Did you come down to rescue us?" he asked pitifully.
Just as Luo Xi was about to speak, an angry voice came from the "cushion" under her buttocks: "You bastard, which grandson of a turtle is it? Get off me right now, are you tired of living?"
"I'll tear you to pieces in a minute, steam you, boil you, and then fry you."
The child was so frightened that his face turned pale, but he didn't run away. Instead, he puffed out his cheeks and rushed over. The little boy pressed his entire body against the bandit leader's head, his face flushed red as he held him down tightly.
"Fairy Sister, Zhouzhou has held him down, you run!"
"That bastard is wicked, he only eats children and women, Zhouzhou, Zhouzhou..."
So cute! Loxi was instantly charmed.
He lifted him up with one hand and held him in his arms: "Don't worry, leave him to me."
I just thought it was a bit unethical to use this person as a scapegoat for no reason, but scum is another matter.
