The other guards glared indignantly at Jiu Xian: "If you want to touch our master, you'll have to get past us first."
A fight? A flicker of interest flashed in Jiu Xian's eyes, but before he could take his first step, the man in the carriage spoke up: "No need to fight, I'll just go with you to take a look."
His voice was like a clear spring in a stream, pure and pristine.
"My lord, you mustn't!" The head guard was extremely anxious. "Who knows who he is? What is his purpose in taking you back? With us here, he won't be able to touch you."
After saying that, he called to the other guards and tried to rush over.
The man in white raised his hand to stop them: "Forget it, none of you are a match for him. Step back."
How could this be? The guard leader was skeptical, but his husband was always very good at judging people.
Hearing someone praise his martial arts skills, Jiu Xian's lips curled up slightly: "You really are good."
This stake should be enough for more than two matches.
The man in white bowed to Jiu Xian and said, "My name is Si Jia, courtesy name Luo Chen. May I ask your name, hero? And why do you want to arrest me?"
His every move exudes an ethereal elegance that brings joy to those who watch him.
Jiuxian was even more satisfied with this bargaining chip, and in a rare good mood, he replied, "Jiuxian, I'll make you my bandit queen."
"A bandit's wife?" Everyone present gaped in astonishment. Did he even know what he was saying?
They were all men.
Qinglong immediately hid himself in the shadows, wishing he could even shrink his head into his belly.
The original poster is hopeless!
The white-clad man named Si Jia, however, was more concerned with something else: "Your Excellency... are you the Master of the Red Pavilion?"
He had a guess, but he wasn't sure.
What? The master of the Red Chamber, the number one assassin in the world?
The guards turned pale instantly. No wonder the prince said they were no match for him; indeed, they were no match for him.
"You really are good." Jiuxian praised him again.
He thought the discussion could be brought up five times.
It seems so. Si Jia sighed softly and asked no more questions: "Then I'll trouble Ninth Master to lead the way. We're tired from our journey, so let's go to your residence and ask for a cup of tea."
Jiuxian glanced at him again, and seeing that he really had no intention of running away, he mounted his horse and rode ahead.
The guard leader wanted to say something more, but Si Jia stopped him.
Along the way, Jiuxian only took small paths and didn't encounter a single person. Coupled with the withered and yellowed vegetation due to drought, it all looked extremely eerie.
The guards of the Si family were on tenterhooks, feeling as if they were being taken to the wilderness to be killed and their bodies disposed of.
Just when they were about to give up, a historic and rustic mountain village finally appeared before them, and the guards breathed a sigh of relief.
It's not enough to just take it to the wilderness and kill it.
They soon arrived at the back gate of the villa. The gatekeeper, seeing Jiu Xian bringing so many strangers, was taken aback and asked, "Ninth Master, who are they?"
Jiuxian didn't answer, but instead asked, "Where is the Boss now?"
“This…” The gatekeeper glanced at the stranger behind him again, but finally let him through: “The chief is enjoying the cool air in the courtyard.”
The Ninth Master is in the manor, and his position is similar to that of the Second Master. He shouldn't do anything to harm the manor.
Nine Strings was satisfied and led the group directly towards Luo Xi's courtyard.
Azure Dragon: "..."
The original poster is going to get beaten up again.
Sure enough, after arriving at the destination, Jiu Xian explained his purpose. Luo Xi, who was leisurely lying on a recliner drinking tea, spat out a mouthful of water: "Jiu Xiao Xian, what's wrong with you now?"
She didn't even glance at the other people; she was staring intently at Jiu Xian.
"You don't like her?" Jiu Xian's expression also turned a little unpleasant: "You don't like this bandit's wife? But she's really good-looking."
"Why don't you tell me what kind you like, and I'll go find something?"
Is that what she's talking about? Rosie grinds her teeth.
"Nine Strings, looks like you're itching for a beating again, huh?" Luo Xi jumped up from her chair and pounced on the guy opposite her who was acting crazy from time to time.
She'll definitely beat him so badly he won't be able to get out of bed for days, let's see if he dares to cause any more trouble.
"There's another way," Jiuxian's eyes lit up. He seemed to have found a way to easily spar with Luo Xi.
The guards of the Si family looked at each other, completely bewildered, as they watched the two of them turn into a brawl after exchanging only a few words.
Finally, the guard leader asked Qinglong, "Since your leader doesn't seem to have this idea, can we leave now?"
Qinglong withdrew his gaze and looked at the group: "That's impossible. You should stay here for a few days."
If we let them go, what if the original poster suddenly remembers them? Where will they find them?
"Please, everyone."
"You..." The guard leader was furious and was about to argue with him, but Si Jia stopped him: "Forget it, let's go with the flow."
"Sir Silang is indeed very polite." Qinglong said good-naturedly, "Don't worry, we in the Red Chamber are not unreasonable people. As long as we have the Lord's permission, I will let you leave immediately."
Reasoning? If you're going to reason, why would you randomly rob people on the street? The guard leader scoffed.
Si Jia calmly cupped her hands in greeting: "Then I'll trouble you."
Their relaxed demeanor made it seem as if they were simply visiting a friend's house.
“No problem.” Qinglong didn’t make things difficult for them. Instead of locking them up in the dungeon, he took them to an empty courtyard.
"Please make yourselves at home and stay here for now. Dinner will be delivered shortly."
He turned and left after he finished speaking.
After the door closed, the head of the guards, Si Mo, angrily slammed his fist against the wall: "The people of the Red Mansion are really going too far."
