Chapter 23 They Ate It

After thinking for a moment, Luo Xi still fed him some spiritual spring water. Children are prone to illness when frightened, and it would be even more troublesome if he got sick again.

While Wei Zhou was resting after drinking the spiritual spring water, Luo Xi cooked some noodles.

Sigh, it seems like she's getting sick of eating noodles every day since coming to ancient times.

He was sleeping soundly when he was suddenly awakened by the aroma of food, and his tummy started growling.

"Sister, what are you cooking? It smells so good!"

"It's just regular noodles, with two eggs added. Does it taste good?" Luo Xi really didn't think so.

"Mmm!" The child nodded eagerly, his little face flushed. "Zhouzhou has never seen such fragrant noodles before."

Luo Xi found it amusing; he must be starving, because everything smelled delicious to him: "Come on, if it smells good, eat more. It's time to eat."

"Then, the bad guys carried Zhouzhou into the mountains. They walked for about half a day after entering the mountains, so they probably didn't go very far."

Watching him recount his experiences in a clear and organized manner, Rose couldn't help but marvel at the precociousness of children in ancient times.

“Alright, then I’ll take you towards the main road. Maybe we’ll run into them soon.” Luo Xi flicked the reins and quickened the pace.
