Chapter 32 I have plenty of gold

Inside the carriage, Luo Xi, who was staring at Jiu Xian with wide eyes, was taken aback.

This kid is interesting.

She lifted the curtain and jumped down from the carriage, reached out and picked up the child, weighing him in her hand: "Hmm, he's not heavy."

Wei Qing smiled and said, "I'll have to trouble you with Zhouzhou."

Rose smiled, picked up the child, and got back into the carriage.

"Come, sit here." Rose placed the child next to her.

After thinking for a moment, he took out a bunch of children's snacks from his bag and put them on the small table next to him.

"Eat this if you're hungry."

She used to hoard a lot of snacks, and she still hasn't finished them all. Luckily, time hasn't passed in her space, otherwise they would have gone to waste.

Wei Zhou blushed and looked at Luo Xi: "Thank you, sister."

He was about to take a look at what was there when a long, slender hand on the other side was faster than him.

With a single stretch and retraction of the large hand, the small table was now completely empty.

Wei Zhou: "..."

The chubby face puffed up like a pufferfish once again.

"Bad guy! That belongs to Zhouzhou."

“Now it is mine.” Jiuxian said, taking out a gold ingot from his pocket and placing it on the small table with a thud.

The child with empty pockets: "..."

He sat back down, dejected.

Loxi found it amusing and pulled out another handful of snacks, stuffing them directly into the child's arms.

"Don't be angry, I still have some here."

Wei Zhou, clutching the snacks, looked even more dejected: "...But Zhouzhou doesn't have any gold."

As he spoke, he handed the snacks to Rosie.

Luo Xi didn't answer: "You're so cute, you can eat without gold."

My sister said he was cute! The child's big eyes suddenly lit up: "Thank you, sister."

He clutched the snacks in his arms and gave Jiuxian a smug smile.

Jiuxian paused for a moment, then reached out to take the gold back.

Luo Xi wasn't about to let him take it back. She quickly grabbed the gold and stuffed it into her bag: "The item has been sold, no refunds accepted."

A few bags of snacks for a gold ingot? What a bargain! Only a fool would return it to him.

Jiuxian stared at the empty little table and silently withdrew his hand: "I have plenty of gold."

"That's perfect," Rosie clicked her tongue. "Want more? I have some more here."

Jiuxian ignored her completely, picked up a green-packaged snack and looked at it from left to right, pulling and tugging at it. The contents felt a bit soft, so he didn't dare to use too much force.

After struggling for a long time without success, his thick, sword-like eyebrows gradually became a tangled mess.

"Open it!" Jiuxian simply handed it to Luo Xi.

Loxi raised an eyebrow and stretched out her left hand.

Jiuxian consciously put the snacks up there.

Rosie smiled and withdrew her left hand, extending her right: "And the reward?"

Jiuxian stared intently at her with deep eyes.

Rosie remained calm, keeping her outstretched hand in place.

They want to order her around without paying her; they're dreaming.

After a while, a gold ingot was thrown over, hitting her hand and making it slightly numb, showing the master's dissatisfaction.

Without even flinching, Rose quickly stuffed it into her bag again.

"What kind of leader of the world's number one assassin? He can't even do this."

While skillfully opening the packaging, Luo Xi didn't forget to tease Jiu Xian.

Jiuxian let her ramble on, his eyes fixed on Luo Xi's movements.

In the blink of an eye, something milky white was handed to him.

Suddenly, a gold ingot felt incredibly cheap.

He snatched it and stuffed it into his mouth.

"Hey—" Luo Xi wanted to remind him, but this guy was too fast.

Cheese sticks are a mixed bag; some people love them and find them incredibly delicious, while others... well, they're not so great.

Jiuxian looked over, puzzled, but before he could speak, a strange taste spread in his mouth.

His pale face had turned somewhat dark.

“You can’t blame me for this,” Rose shrugged. “I was going to remind you, but you were too quick.”

Jiuxian had no time to pay attention to her right now. She quickly took out the source of the strange smell and smacked her lips.

It doesn't seem so bad.

He put it in his mouth again; it smelled so good, so milky.

Hmm, not bad, I took a bite right away.

But after a couple of bites, it was gone. Jiuxian took out the pile of snacks and looked for them, but they were all gone.

He reached into his pocket, took out a silver note, and handed it to Rosie: "Buy those pastries."

Luo Xi chuckled and said, "Okay, wait a minute."

She never imagined that Jiuxian, who made a living by killing, would like to eat cheese sticks; it was truly unbelievable.

Luo Xi took out a large bag and handed it over.

One hundred taels of silver, she can't be too greedy, right?

Jiuxian took it and looked at it, then felt it was too little, so he took out another silver note and handed it over.

This time it was a thousand taels.

Rosie: "..."

Are you sure?

Is this person meant to be eaten?

Jiuxian didn't say anything, but simply pushed the silver notes in his hand forward a little more.

This time, Luo Xi didn't take the money. She patted her flat backpack and said, "That's all. Why would I carry so many snacks?"

Nine Strings stared at her with his dark eyes for a long time, just when Luo Xi thought he was about to give up.

A cold, masculine voice rang out: "It's not in your bag, but don't you have a treasure that can hold a lot of things?"

"What did you say?" Luo Xi's eyes suddenly turned cold.

How could this person know about the spatial aspect? Ever since I met him, I've always taken things out of my bag.

Nine Strings said indifferently, "It's just a treasure for storing things; I don't even consider it a threat."

While it's convenient to use it to store things, it's not irreplaceable, and he doesn't absolutely have to steal it.
