Zhou Erfu and Zhou Sifu were indeed in a hurry to go back and bleed the wild boar. The wild boar was still alive and had not been injured by any sharp weapon. However, its head had been punched more than a dozen times by Zhou Erfu, and it was almost beaten to death on the spot.
Only Chen Shunping was home at the moment. He was quite surprised to see them carrying the wild boar back. "Weren't you taking classes at the Song residence? Why did you go hunting wild boar?"
"Uncle, could you please go to the kitchen and get a basin to collect the pig's blood?" There was no time to explain now; they had to kill the pig first.
By the time Xingxing ran home, the pig's blood had already been drained. She wasn't annoyed. She watched as Zhou Erfu and Zhou Sifu went out again carrying wooden sticks, knowing that they were going to bring back another wild boar.
"Uncle, do you know how to slaughter pigs?" Xingxing asked in a soft, sweet voice.
"No, I've never slaughtered a pig." Chen Shunping seemed to have guessed what the little girl wanted him to do, and he was somewhat amused and exasperated.
Sure enough, Xingxing was a little disappointed to hear that he didn't know how to slaughter pigs. She thought all the men in the village knew how to slaughter pigs. Well, her uncle wasn't from Yegou Village; he came with her aunt.
For some reason, Xingxing ran out the door and waited for a while before seeing Tie Qingfeng walking over surrounded by servants. She quickly ran over and stopped them.
"Young Master Tie, please wait a moment. I have something to ask you."
Tie Qingfeng sat in the sedan chair, which Song Jiao had been carrying on her back. She gave the chair to him, and the two of them asked in unison, "What brings you here?"
Xingxing ignored Song Jiao and instead looked at Tie Qingfeng, saying, "Does anyone in your household know how to slaughter pigs? If not, my second and fourth brothers can help you."
"What do you want?" Tie Qingfeng asked, quite perceptively.
Xingxing didn't feel embarrassed at all. She smiled innocently and said, "Give us an extra wild boar. You can't possibly eat that much anyway."
If we give it to their family, they can use it to dry meat.
"It's not that it's impossible, but I originally wanted to give two to people in your village. There should be people in the village who know how to slaughter pigs, right?"
Tie Qingfeng's eyes crinkled with a smile. Why was this girl so fixated on wild boars? Two weren't enough for her, and she wanted an extra one?
Upon hearing that the boar was to be divided between the villagers, Xingxing shook her head and walked away, waving her hand behind her and saying, "Forget it then, you should just give it to the villagers. Our family doesn't need your wild boar."
Huh? Who was it that tried to ask him for it just now?
In the blink of an eye, it's no longer anything special; the speed at which it changes its tune is truly astonishing.
Tie Qingfeng felt a little uncomfortable and said in a voice that only he could hear, "I think you look like a little pink pig."
Just as Xingxing was about to enter the courtyard, she suddenly sneezed. She turned around abruptly, her little voice filled with displeasure, "Who, who insulted me?"
But no one answered her; Tie Qingfeng and his group walked past without even glancing at her.
Xingxing: "..." How rude of her, she didn't even reply.
