Zhao Guihua explained with a smile, "This restaurant has signature dishes, and these dishes are all made with secret recipes. My sister doesn't want outsiders to learn them, so she'd rather work a little harder and cook them herself."
So that's how it is. Zhu Qiuyu didn't say anything more.
Half an hour later, the dishes were served. The first dish was braised pork with bayberries, along with a pot of bayberry wine. Boss Zhou and Zhao Guihua invited their fellow students to taste the flavors.
The five of them, including Fu, sat at another table and had already started eating, not wanting to say a word.
Xingxing picked up a chicken leg for Zhu Lin. "Brother Lin, this is delicious. Xingxing loves braised pork with bayberries the most, especially the chicken legs and wings. It's really delicious."
"Then I must try it properly." Zhu Lin was very obliging, picking up a chicken leg and taking a bite. He ate elegantly, but his eating speed was not slow.

"How could this be a disturbance? I'm so happy you could come, so I wanted to cook for you. Seeing you enjoy the food makes me even happier," Zhao Guizhi said, somewhat incoherently.
“We understand your intentions, but we’re a bit tired from the journey today, so we’ll stay here and come back tomorrow,” Zhu Qiuyu replied kindly.
“That’s right. I’ve been trying so hard to get you to come over and eat my cooking, but I forgot you just got back and need to rest. I’ll have someone send your dinner over tonight. You definitely need it.” Zhao Guizhi didn’t give them a chance to refuse.
After seeing them downstairs, Zhao Guizhi pulled Zhou Laoda and his wife aside to talk. "It might be a bit crowded for so many people to stay in the house. The children might not fit. Let's find a large inn for our senior brothers and sisters to stay in. We can't let them suffer."
The children who were bought back hadn't come upstairs to eat yet, so Zhao Guizhi had a few small tables set up in the backyard, where the children ate.
“Okay, I understand. You go ahead and get busy. We can handle things here,” Zhao Guihua replied.
After leaving the restaurant, Boss Zhou led several people from Xianwu Island to stay at an inn. They chose the best inn in the county town, but only Zhu Qiuyu and his group of six were willing to stay there. Zhu Lin refused to go, and Xingxing wouldn't let him stay at the inn either, since Brother Lin had to go back to the house with her.
