Chapter 405 There's Always a Way Out

Yokoyama Chiyo and Oni-men immediately caught up. Nifuku and Sifuku were fast, but Yokoyama Chiyo and Oni-men were not slow either. They caught up with Ahui in no time. It was really not easy for a girl to carry an adult man for such a long distance.

How could they outrun the four people's desperate sprint? When they saw Ah Hui's figure in the distance, Erfu and Sifu stopped and did not run any further. If they ran any further, Ah Hui and Prince Cheng would be in danger.

The two drew their swords and stood in front of them, but Yokoyama Chiyo flew directly over their heads, her voice clearly coming from the air, "I'll leave these two to you, Oni-mask. I'm going to kill that village girl and Prince Cheng."

"As expected of Prince Cheng," Sifu exclaimed upon hearing this.

"We can't let her succeed. What's the point of fighting? Run!" Erfu had already grabbed the poison gas bomb in his hand and threw it at the masked man before he could get close. He also sprayed the poison powder like it was free. The masked man was so eager to stop them that he attacked too fiercely and couldn't retreat in time, and was hit by the poison.

Strike while the iron is hot, now is the time. Zhou Erfu rushed forward and kicked the masked man to the ground, then stomped on him hard, breaking his sternum and causing him to vomit blood before letting go.

"Let's go!" Erfu shouted, turned around and ran, and Sifu quickly followed.

At this moment, Yokoyama Chiyo had caught up with A-hui and slashed at the person behind her with her sword. In the nick of time, A-hui lunged forward with all her might, hoping to dodge the female pirate's sword.

Her lunge was huge, sending her several meters away from her original position. It looked more like she was flying out of nowhere. With someone on her back, the force of the fall was doubled, and she already anticipated that she might be crushed into a pulp upon landing.

She might even get her face smashed. She had no strength left to do anything else and could only close her eyes and accept the test of fate. She might die or be seriously injured; in any case, it wouldn't be easy.

"Ah..." The expected impact of being knocked to the ground did not happen. Instead, she fell into a hole. At the crucial moment, the person on her back grabbed a low tree on the ground at the entrance of the hole and also grabbed one of her hands.

Yokoyama Chiyo raised her sword to cut off Prince Seishin's hand that was gripping the dwarf tree. Prince Seishin's pupils dilated rapidly. It was over. He had already lost a leg, and it seemed he was about to lose an arm as well.

"Ah, die, you bitch!" Erfu charged forward with his sword raised, about to strike the female Japanese pirate.

However, the female pirate reacted quickly. Although she could no longer cut off Prince Cheng's hand, she could still block the sword that attacked from behind. She turned around quickly and blocked with her sword, knocking Erfu back several meters.

At the same time, Sifu rushed over and grabbed Prince Cheng, ready to pull him up. However, with two people below, it was not easy to pull him up. He was holding onto a low log with one hand, his face flushed, preparing to pull the person up in one go.

Unexpectedly, Yokoyama Chiyo turned around and slashed at Shifu again. Seeing this, Erfu rushed over to slash at Yokoyama, but Yokoyama teleported to the side in the blink of an eye. Erfu, however, could not stop due to inertia and knocked Shifu away.

Sifu was strong and, although he was knocked back a few steps, he managed to grab the tree branch in time. Erfu reacted and quickly reached out to pull Sifu up, but unexpectedly, Erfu was kicked from behind.

Yokoyama Chiyo's kick was incredibly powerful. In his haste, Nifuku was uprooted from the sapling he was holding onto, and he, along with the sapling, Shifuku, and Prince Cheng Ahui, all fell into the cave.

The cave was indeed too deep. It took the four of them a long time to fall to the bottom. Fortunately, the soil at the bottom of the cave was loose, so the four of them were not injured from falling from a height, otherwise they would have really been doomed.

Chiyo Yokoyama originally wanted to chase them to the bottom of the cave and kill them, but when she heard their screams continue for a while before stopping, she realized that the cave was unusually deep, and if she went down, it would probably be difficult for her to come back up.

So he ignored the four people in the cave and decisively turned and left.

Erfu and Sifu struggled inside the cave for several days, trying to climb out every day after resting, but failed repeatedly.

When they fell down, they still had some roasted meat on them. Erfu and Sifu had left in a hurry when they went up the mountain to chase the female Japanese pirate, so they did not bring any dry food. Fortunately, there were small prey in the forest. The two brothers were good at hunting, so they relied on catching small prey to fill their stomachs.

Realizing they hadn't brought any food, they roasted extra meat and carried it with them, so they wouldn't have to hunt again if they got hungry. After falling into the deep pit, the meat came in very handy. By eating it sparingly, the four of them survived for five days.

But five days later, the water in the water bags on Erfu and Sifu's bodies was all gone, and the roasted meat was all eaten. The four of them could only go hungry. The worst off was Prince Cheng, who had already been seriously injured and was thrown into the forest to fend for himself for a period of time.

His voice was also poisoned and he lost his voice. After falling into the cave, Erfu and Sifu tried to give Prince Cheng the antidote they carried with them. Prince Cheng took several kinds of antidotes, and as a last resort, after convulsing a few times due to the poison, his voice was actually cured.

Prince Cheng then regained his ability to speak.

According to him, after the female Japanese pirates forced him to wear an iron mask, his head was severely injured from being squeezed. Later, perhaps not wanting him to die too easily, the female Japanese pirates had him thrown into the mountains while he was half-dead, intending for him to suffer endless torment before dying.

But Prince Cheng was unwilling to die like this. He kept the dagger that the female pirate threw to him close to his body. He used the dagger to catch some small prey to eat. His strong will to survive kept him from falling.

The female pirate gave him the dagger, intending for him to end his own life, but it unexpectedly became his lifeline.

However, he severely scratched his face and head by forcibly removing the iron mask he was wearing, and bled a lot, causing him to faint. He should be thankful that he did not encounter any large wild beasts in the mountains, otherwise the smell of blood would have attracted them, and he would have either bled to death or been torn apart by wild animals.
