"Alright, we can at least get the stuff out of there, right? Otherwise we'll have to find food again. The only things left to eat on this mountain are wild vegetables and fruits. All the small prey has disappeared, and we can't even see a bird."
"Chirp chirp chirp".
As soon as Xingxing finished speaking, she heard the chirping of birds coming from the distant tree branches. Her eyes widened immediately. "The birds are back! Then the other small animals must be back too. They must have been hiding somewhere before. These little guys are so good at hiding."
"The natural disaster is over, and the little animals have all come out. It seems we don't need to worry about natural disasters happening again. Now we just need to figure out how to get back." Zhu Lin looked up at the sky above, where the sun was shining brightly and the sky was clear and blue. His mood improved as well.
He had been feeling quite stifled in his small world within the Mustard Seed Space, and because of his injuries, he couldn't get up and move around. Later, when he was able to get out of bed, Xingxing was watching over him and wouldn't allow him to move around, insisting that he stay in bed to rest.
The boy stretched his limbs, and then, without saying a word, grabbed Xingxing and rushed forward.
"Why are you running so fast?" Xingxing asked in surprise.
"We can't stay here forever if we're on the move," Zhu Lin replied in a low voice, without slowing down.
"Where do we go now? The original island has been split into several parts. It was moved, and we don't know where it was moved to." Xingxing frowned in distress, worried that the island had been moved to an untouched sea area. In that case, when would they be able to go back?
"Keep heading east. As long as we keep heading east, we'll definitely get back," Zhu Lin said confidently.
