Why are you so angry?
"I, I'll go help in the kitchen." Chun Chun blushed and quickly disappeared.
"Why do they all look so strange?" Xingxing asked, looking bewildered.
Chen Yueru was about to pull Xingxing aside to whisper something when Zhu Lin came out of the house. Suddenly, the brat couldn't see anyone else and strode over to the young man.
"Brother Phosphorus, I'm back!" Xingxing tilted her head up, her eyes crinkling with joy.
The boy reached out and touched the top of her head. "Did you have a lot of fun today? Didn't you buy anything?"
"I didn't see anything I wanted to buy. Today was just as unsuccessful as ever. I didn't find a suitable future sister-in-law." Xingxing said somewhat dejectedly.
"Shall we continue our search when we return to town tomorrow?" The young man's face was full of tolerance, his eyes brimming with obvious doting and indulgence.
"Let's talk about it later. Let's go back to the village first. There's no point in looking at each other like this. I don't want to look anymore." The initial interest had faded, and now he couldn't muster any enthusiasm. But he couldn't say this out loud, or he would embarrass himself.
She had confidently declared that she could find future sisters-in-law for her brothers, but after all this time she still hadn't succeeded. I'm ashamed.
"Yes, I bought a chicken this morning. I'll cook you beggar's chicken myself." Zhu Lin smiled and walked to the chicken coop in the corner of the yard, pulling out a fat rooster from inside.
Xingxing let out a cheer and tried to hug the young man, but he dodged her. A big smile appeared in his eyes. "I'm holding a chicken, so it's not easy to hug you. Besides, Ruru is watching."
"Ahem, cough cough." Chen Yueru made a timely sound to acknowledge her presence, reminding the person not to get carried away and to consider the feelings of others.
