Chapter 16 Speculation



Since she had no intention of harming anyone, nor did she intend to deceive him, and even instructed him to erect tombstones for his parents.

Dazhuang was willing to pretend he was deaf and dumb, and acted as if he knew nothing about it.

A few breaths later, she shook her head, raised her chin, and gestured towards the pathless, withered forest of leaves:

"This way looks safer because there aren't many people going there. Let's go this way."

Siwang, leading the listless goose, tugged at Ye Wenxue's leg and muttered:

"Mom, you're so amazing now, we're not afraid of bad guys!"

Ye Wenxue chuckled and patted the four-and-a-half-year-old's head:

"I can beat three or five, or a dozen or so, but I could never beat hundreds or thousands."

Besides, she had five helpless children at home, and she dared not take any risks.

Siwang seemed to understand but not quite.
